Unit's DC voltage is switchable: Rail 1: 19v (2.5A) or 15v (2.5A) or 12v (2A) or 9V (1.5A) Rail 2: 16.5v (2.5A) or 15v (2.5A) or 12v (2A) or 9v (1.5A) The Turbo upgrade adds a low power voltage regulator, powering the error amplifier/output stage driver resulting in better overall regulation, better transient response/settling time, and lower dynamic and static noise. This turbo upgrade is not exactly the same as the DR configuration used in Paul Hynes SR7 custom-builds, as the DR configuration uses two high power voltage regulators in series. However, the Turbo upgrade moves the performance SR5 closer to the performance of the standard SR7 PHD Ltd products. According to Audiobacon reviewer, the turbo upgrade does sound quite a bit different than the non-turbo versions. It has a similar ability to realistically 3D mold the music like the Sean Jacobs DC4 and SR7. But it’s not quite as expressive or faithful but is still impressive for the price. The turbo power has decent texture and air. Treble is tuneful and has adequate shine. The midrange has plenty of clarity and resolution. It’s dense, but a little glossy. Bass has decent volume and momentum but is more even even-keeled than forceful. Where it shines is in representing textural cues and opening up the soundstage. Imaging is spot on and everything flows with variability in density. Includes (3) Silver Paul Hynes DC cables DC6FSXLR 0.5 meters (two have 2.1mm connectors and one has 2.5mm connector) Shipping within North America included. Fees extra. No trades. That's what I thought would happen but it doesn't at least not for me. On my ipad, the filters are not available even though roon has them and are visible through my mac. So maybe there is a trick I am missing, I don't know?

Very easy to do with Mitch's step by step instructions but it must be done through a macbook or PC not an IOS device - maybe the more technically inclined have a work around for this? So I am now using my macbook to control rooner server. Filters are truly great!

I installed the filters this afternoon. What a difference! The filters do an awesome job of removing a digital edge/ glare - that i didn't know was there. It is so much smoother and more refined. Also, the bottom end added with two of the filters provides a much more solid foundation to all music I have tried and with no bloat. This is the best $250 I have every spent on audio. Amazing job Mitch!
