Hmm EC7v2 DSD512 ext3 seem to be possible on 5900x without cuda too on windows, tho sometimes sound drops for 1-2 seconds and all load on primary threads done by HQplayer is lost for those seconds then it recovers. CPU usage also in not a straight double of DSD256

@Miska Hmmm i still have the issue with either right, or left channel being silent when matrix pipeline is turned on, i think it happens when it's switching between 44.1 and 48khz rates as i can reliable trigger it if i playback a 44.1 file switch to 48khz, and back to 41 khz again, you may need to do it a couple of times. edit: also seems that moving the volume knob a couple clicks up or down also fixes the lost sound in channel when it happens.

Limited counter sits at 0, only started happening in the 4.15 release, I think it's related to pipeline matrix as it doesn't seem to happen with it disabled.

Hmm the issue with only one channel sometimes playing is still there on 4.15.2

The no sound in mostly left channel issue, seems to happen regardless of cuda tho, as Cuda is left to default option grayed. And that is with driver 497.xx, could be related to matrix pipeline tho.

Hmmm i believe the higher cpu usage i noticed for flac in 4.15 is a regression, as 4.14 versions has the same usage regardless if it's flac, or mp3.

Yup i get best performance now with it grayed.

@MiskaAlso it seems that HQPlayer is more efficient with mp3 files than flac average cpu usage with asdm7EC + ext-3 in 4.15 is around 10-11% with mp3, while for some reason with flac it's around 14-15%, and then there's the issue with either right, or left channel randomly not working when starting a song.

@Miskaactually seems like the new HQPlayer 4.15 is not triggering boosting correctly with 5900x requested VID is around 0.9v and the boost frequency on all cores sit around 3-3.1ghz, but if you start a game etc then it correctly boosts to 4.5-4.6. all core, changing power plans have no effect also on boosting. EDIT: Managed to fix boosting behavior somewhat upto 3.7-4.1ghz but still not up to what it should be capable off like 4.5.4.6 with even higher loads.

Hmmm the new 4.15 build with new core allocation, seems to almost double cpu usage for ASDM7EC+ext-3 generally with 4.1.4 etc it was around 7-8.5% while now it's between 14-16% on my 5900x, but it does seem like load on individual threads are spread out more.
