1. I cant really change my system at the moment because I'm in the middle of an important project, but after that I think I'll look into it. I kind of solved my latency-problems by the way. Disabling every startup, service or device possible (including currently not needed system devices) and forcing realtime priority for foobar did the trick.

Regards, Matt
 2. I thinking of setting up a Linux System with a Real Time Kernel?
I'm using Windows 7, and the latencies have a bad influce on the sound.
Therefore I'm curious about your side projects.

Edit: Anyone tested 64Studio? Sounds interesting
http://www.64studio.com/

Regards, Matt
 3. the Tracker Pre windows 7 drivers are causing high cpu every few seconds as soon as i start playing music, which consists totally of deferred procedure calls (which means its a bad driver). Regards, Matt
 4. ASIO works w/o problem, including automatic sampling rate change WASAPI mostly works without problems too, but not always. For example automatic sampling rate change doesn't work with foobar2000 (yet). Regards, Matt
 5. I meat the BM 12As like in the thread title, not the focus. Anyway, I did not have enough time for a serious review yet. Matt
 6. Then i can say more. Regards, Matt
 7. But keep in mind that some Monitors are very direct which can cause ear fatigue especially if you listen over a longer period. I think that the Dynaudios perform well in this regard, but this is highly personal. Also they are rather designed for nearfield, so I dont know how they perform farther away. I'm going to buy them this week (As PC Setup). Regards, Matt
 8. Tanks, thats nice to hear. I'm mostly concerned about WASAPI in combination with Foobar2000 and ReClock (for movies). -Matt
 9. Hi @all! I'm probably going to by a EMU 0404 USB for a new computer audio setup in my student dorm this week. But before that I'd like to ask some important questions: Has anyone successfully tested that DAC with Windows 7 x64 (Professional, RTM)? Does it work flawlessly (bit perfect, auto-sample rate) with WASAPI, too? Any experience would be very helpful. Regards, Matt
 10. Hi, Im goint to buy a pair of studio monitors for my Room, the best option currently beeing the JBL4328P PAK. I plan to buy more high-res files, because I love the quality and sound of these recordings. The integrated USB-DACs only handle up to 96 KHz. Would you rather recommend buying 9688.2 KHz high-res files for direct playback or buy 192 etc. KHz and use a proper resamping to 96 KHz (future proof)? How big would the difference be ? I've never been able to directly compare 96KHz to 192KHz. Regards, Matt
