  1. Have you tried deleting the Conductor app and reloading it?
  2. Bob.......Thank you. I'll bet your Aurender N10 sounds fabulous with the Ayre QX-5. I manage to get 3 to 4 hours of dedicated listening to my N10/K-01X rig every day. Love every second of it.
  3. dminches.......I previously used an Olive 04HD music server and a Sony Vaio laptop with JRiver, both connected to an Esoteric K-03. Apologies for the delay in answering. I have been away from the forum.
  4. Still love my Aurender N10, even more now that I am using the DAC in my new Esoteric K-01X. This combination is exceptional.
  5. michaelD.......Thank you for your post. I do have the latest PC version of Tidal and can save the Masters. I will give it a try, save a few titles as Favorites, then see how it plays back on the Aurender N10 to the Esoteric K-03 DAC. Thanks for the explanation.
  6. At least MQA on the Aurender seems to be a reality, albeit still in beta form. Something to look forward to. Thank you for the quick response.
  7. I installed a new Aurender N10 in my sound system last month. Can you provide a step by step explanation on how to acquire the MQA update with the Aurender Conductor app?
  8. russellbobby.......Very cool. I have heard other positive reports on the Aurender A10. I think Aurender has their finger on the pulse of high performance audio gear. Thanks for the comment on upgrading the fuse. I had not thought about a fuse upgrade for my N10. I am using HiFi Tuning Supreme fuses in my preamp, and power amps. I may have to follow your lead and upgrade the fuse just to see (hear) if there is a performance advantage. Appreciate that tip.
  9. My new Aurender N10 music server break-in is officially complete. I now have 516 hours on it. The N10 has been playing non-stop from the moment I turned it on and last night was the first time I turned N10 off. I had originally considered 300 hours as my break-in target but decided to just let it continue to play until the hours reached 500. The sound exceeds my original expectations by a wide margin. Its presentation is liquid, holistic, and real. From day one the the N10 sounded excellent but I noticed a gradual improvement in my mental connection with the music once the hours exceeded 100. From that point until last night the change in the N10's presentation has been minor. The music has a richness and three dimensional presentation that is truly remarkable. The Aurender N10 is a wonderful music server on all levels. I am beyond happy, and astonished every time the music begins to flow. Highly recommended.
  10. coot.......I never installed the factory power cable on my Aurender N10. Right out of the box and into the rack the N10 has been powered with a two meter Wireworld Silver Electra power cable from day one. All components in that two channel system (McIntosh C1000C/P preamp, MC2301 power amps, Esoteric K-03, Aurender N10, and PurePower 2000) are powered with two meter Wireworld Silver Electra power cables. I can't tell you the difference between the N10 with the stock power cable and the WW power cable because I had zero interest in the factory power cord to begin with.
  11. Vincent1234.......Thank you. The N10 now has 457 hours of break-in on it. I will consider the break-in complete at 500 hours. I listened to the N10 last night until 1:30 AM. I just could not seem to find the will to go to bed. The Aurender N10 is an astonishing performer. Even streaming Tidal at 16/44.1 sounds amazing.
  12. My new Aurender N10 was delivered a couple weeks ago. What a beauty, looks and sound are sublime. I now have 416 hours of break-in on the music server and it has blossomed to present a totally convincing, holistic, and captivating performance. The Aurender N10 music server is remarkable. 13. beerandmusic.......Aurender now has a beta version of their Conductor app for Android. I prefer Conductor on my iPad because of the bigger screen but the Android version on my Samsung Galaxy S7 works quite well with my N10. It's a free download from the Google Play Store. I have now had my new Aurender N10 music server just over two weeks. What an intoxicating audio component. My review of the Aurender N10 can be found here: http://www.audioshark.org/aurender-185/aurender-n10-caching-music-server-review-10912.html
  14. The new Aurender N10 music server is installed in the studio sound system making sweet music. I completed the transfer of the music files to the N10 this morning and have been playing with it and enjoying the sound for the past six hours. I used the opportunity to cull the library on the hard drive because I have at least a 100+ CD's I have no interest in any longer. Right now there are 935 CD's and hi-res music files on the N10 hard drive. I may never reach the 4TB storage capacity limit of my N10. I am absolutely ecstatic to have the N10 in the studio sound system. No more laptop, no more Olive 04HD, just the Aurender N10 making beautiful music. The Aurender Conductor app is smooth, intuitive, and responsive. Tidal hi-fi streaming integrates seamlessly and sounds impressive. It is a joy to scroll through my music library, viewing the cover art, and building playlists. The operating system is swift to respond to commands from the iPad, and the N10's operating system works flawlessly. Talk about an early Christmas present, the Aurender N10 is amazing. I now have the N10 set on Repeat, playing a playlist over and over to speed the break-in process. I'll let it continue playing 24/7 until I reach 150 to 200 hours. For now I am having a blast learning the app and listening to the Aurender N10. It is a class act.
  15. Chris.......Glad to see you here. I know what you mean about not getting any younger. If I don't hurry up and learn something I may just run out of time.
