  1. Thierry's app works like a charm. I previously used REW to do the measuring but I preferred his straightforward app.
  2. No worries! Yes I saw your previous signature line and thought you got the new plugin to work on a Mac. Your system setup is very similar to mine.
  3. Thanks Jim, I didn't know this! I like learning new things so gracious! I do wish it was built into Roon however just to make things streamlined. Anyway I'm a fan of what HAF is doing so I'd love to try it out except I don't own a Windows machine. If you have any instructions on how to do this please post! I'm somewhat adept technically
  4. Looking forward to trying the Mac version. Hopefully Roon will allow plugins one day.
  5. I agree Thierry has been super responsive with me and my silly questions in the beginning. Its been the best audio purchase I've made. I don't "tweak" anything anymore. My next purchase will be better speakers then I'll have Thierry do his magic again.
  6. Great review, and nice confirmation of what many of us already know! I've alway been curious as to what people who have better equipment than I think of HAF filters, now I know!
  7. @sixman 100% agree with you. They are so good I don't even think about additional tweaks. I just listen to music
  8. @extracampine From the 1.4 release notes, they seem to allude to some optimizations. I think these are where the SQ improvements lie. Very subtle for sure, but I've noticed an uptick in SQ(my ears, my system) "We’ve also optimized the RAAT implementation in the Core to minimize CPU usage and context switching during streaming. On the endpoint side, there some optimizations in Roon, Roon Server and Roon Bridge that reduce timing variability when passing audio buffers to device drivers."
  9. From what I'm hearing with my system is timing and spacial definition improvements. I'd like a little more time to listen and validate the improvements I'm hearing. Nothing else has changed with my system except the Roon upgrade. From the release notes they seem to allude to some optimizations. 10. Sound Quality has taken a really nice step forward. 1.4 Sounds much better at least for my system and ears!
  11. I'm late to the party, but FWIW, this service is fantastic. It's helped my challenging room greatly. I'm very happy with what Thierry has done and is continuing to do. I now have a proper soundstage which was sorely lacking, but more than that with the corrections I now have the correct tonal balance in my living room
  12. I wonder if the 800 series has some tweaks coming. I have cm6's from 1-1/2 years ago and still love them to death
  13. Totally off topic, but please be safe all the Sonore folks since I know you are headquartered in Florida.
