Mitch, thank you for a good review! I see in photo Dutch & Dutch 8c stand on the floor ... When are you going to make and publish a review of these direct competitors Kii Three? This is a practical question, since I am currently using Kii Three in one of my systems and very interested in listening to Dutch & Dutch 8c, but there is no such possibility. Very interested in direct comparison.

You are right in your evaluation of sound - Innuos+Kii Three BXT (which you heard on the High End Show in Munich). I was not present at the show, but my friend (who has a very serious listening experience - analog and digital (Wilson Alexx+ D’Agostino+Berkeley Reference II), at my request thoroughly listened to both systems and communicated with Bruno and representatives of Innuos. He told me that the sound from both systems was like "plastic", "glass" - and all the other epithets by which you described your experience. He was also disappointed with the general impression and said that it was much worse than he had heard from me (in my system Kii Three). He also asked many questions about the best ways of connecting, placing and even the specifics of backfilling of stands (what materials and how much). After analyzing their answers, we came to the conclusion that they do not worry at all about these things and consider that the cables that are included (power and LAN) are sufficient to achieve good results. They also think that a simple laptop is enough. The summary of my message is that if you listened to Kii Three only on these shows, then you do not even have experience about how well, in fact, this amazing system can sound if it is connected to a better source and well tuned.

As you can see the BXT is an extension for the Kii THREE that can be added at any time, turning the stand mount speaker into a veritable floor stander. Detailed tech specs will follow later this summer - however adding 16 drivers and another 4000 WATTs to the current Kii THREE will give you a hint on what to expect. I would recommend a Curious Cable. Thanks for the comment. If you so praise the Metrum Adagio, then why did not you use it on the demonstration, but Zodiac Platinum (delta-sigma ...)?

Monetarily Questionable Agency aka MQA? I did not have the opportunity to read the entire topic, perhaps this information was already discussed here ... I apologize if I repeat, but I found this information interesting: "If you've wondered why 6moons hasn't yet formally covered MQA, you might have also wondered why not more hardware companies have signed up by now. After all, Dolby was massively embraced very quickly. Consider this information from an industry insider. Given three signed NDA, their contributions here are by necessity most generalized and terse to remain within bounds. Still, there's enough to spot a trend or attitude. "At the beginning we were informed about the fees for each product and the need for good administration. So we began what grew into a very serious amount in R&D and labor fees over two years to incorporate it. Not only was the MQA module of interest but our entire product range would be modified for the occasion. Once we received the definitive contract however, we discovered grave imbalances. Had we seen the definitive contract upfront, we would never have wasted such a huge amount of money!"To rewind a tad, all business is about profit. That's the nature of the beast. Nobody goes into business to work for free or give stuff away. However, when business involves collaboration with other commercial entities, it's common sense to expect balanced contracts which are mutually beneficial to all parties concerned. This certainly doesn't prevent mercenary or one-sided tactics. However, if indications to that effect exist, why volunteer to give such enterprises exposure in these pages? Based on the above and similar reluctance to support the format elsewhere, MQA at this stage does not appear to be a good thing for the small boutique firms which make up the core of our sector. Under the means for synchronization, everyone who works in professional studios usually means only clock. Not a DAC, not an ADC, but only a clock (internal in interfaces or external Master Clock). Yes, the Atomic reference oscillator is not a clock, but only a frequency generator (10MHz). It just gives more precision (accurancy) for the master clock (Isochrone Trinity).
