  1. Kernel Version: Linux orendu030C58 6.2.15-100.sgc.fc36.armv7hl #1 SMP Mon Oct 30 12:01:18 EDT 2023 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux
  2. I have the original opticalRendu. It looks like I'm kernel 6.2.15?
  3. How do we get 2.9 to work with Denafrips? I just put my 2.9 card in, updated the OS version and tried. Same issues as before happened.
  4. I'm sticking with 2.8 until (if ever) the issues are resolved with Denafrips products.
  5. Got it, thanks! I didn't see that.
  6. Hey everyone. I saw in my email today that there is a new version of the OR that has a "super ethernet chip" and improved power regulators. Does anyone have any additional info? Or insights as to how this would improve the performance?
  7. Yes. Roon recognizes the opticalrendu, but will not play anything. I do not have any Roon storage, so nothing to sync. Would you like me to email you directly to work through the issue?
  8. I just made sure that my DAC was recognized by the OS, went to settings and hit save, rebooted, and still the same issues. Roon will just skip tracks until it says "Too many failures. Stopping Playback"
  9. Did he think it was a corrupted card? Or was it just to roll it back to the original 2.9 release? I'm hoping issues get resolved soon. Worst $29 I ever spent (lol...just kidding, I know they'll get it fixed for everyone).
  10. I just tried rebooting the whole chain... No luck. Roon won't play anything.
  11. I just updated. Seems to take longer to boot up, and I was unable to play anything via Roon. It just keeps skipping tracks. Went back to 2.8 and was up and playing music within 30 seconds.
  12. I updated my opticalRendu (2.9) via the web interface and now nothing will play via Roon. It just keep skipping tracks then says too many failures, stopping playback.
  13. Hello, wondering if anyone has experimented with upgrading the ethernet cable going into an FMC, in my case the Sonore OpticalModule Deluxe. Does the OpticalModule completely neglect any upstream cable upgrades? I have an Amplifi Alien feeding an OM Deluxe powered by an Uptone JS-2, then fiber into an opticalRendu.
  14. Here is mine, after playback stopped and would not resume until I power cycled the rendu USB Info Bus 002 Device 003: ID 152a:86ef Thesycon Systemsoftware & Consulting GmbH DENAFRIPS USB v3.12 | G12.2.5 Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0424:2412 Microchip Technology, Inc.
