Richard, good day. I too am new to this forum, but not to music. I listen to the Audioengine A5+ bamboo in my living room. I play a combo of CD Rip and HiRes downloads thru a PonoPlayer. I find the speakers to be true, relatively neutral. I would recommend Audioengine to a friend. They are responsive, polite and produce a fine product, IMHO. Mark
