  1. Axiom05 highlights another area of the Native DSD Music store to discuss in a bit more detail - region pricing. While Native DSD Music offers almost all of our DSD Stereo and Multichannel downloads to listeners worldwide (a handful are region restricted by the artist or record label), the pricing does vary by region due to local taxes. In Europe, Native DSD Music (and other download sites available to European customers) must charge a Value Added Tax (VAT) on each purchase. The VAT does not apply in other countries including the U.S. That explains why European customers pay 24.99 Euros ($28.11) for a standard DSD 64fs Stereo release while American customers pay the lower price of 20.65 Euros ($23.23) for the same DSD 64fs Stereo release. Native DSD Music also uses the most current exchange rate for the Euro for our customers outside of markets where the Euro is the local currency. We review and adjust the exchange rate hourly to insure it remains accurate for each purchase. You will see the price in your local currency once you sign on to the Native DSD Music web store with your User ID and Password (available to all at no charge). Signing in also gives you access our collection of Free DSD Music Download tracks in Stereo and Multichannel DSD 64fs, DSD 128fs and DSD 256fs for evaluating different DSD bit rates, musical genres and your audio setup. Thanks again for your inquiry and interest in music from NativeDSD! Floor Van Der Holst, Marketing Manager, Native DSD Music
  2. Fun! Hope you will enjoy listening to the music from these Sampler albums in DSD, MetalNuts.
  3. Hi Progfu, I've been thinking that Native DSD Music needs to create an account at Computer Audiophile to respond to customer inquiries. Your posts gave me the final push to finally do so! Thank you for your inquiry and let me offer a bit more detail on NativeDSD's music downloads pricing. Our pricing has remained the same since we started in 2013. For full album releases, DSD 64fs Stereo=€24,99 ($28.05), DSD 128fs Stereo=€25,99 ($29.17) and DSD 256fs Stereo=€27,99 ($31.42). For Multichannel versions we add 1 or 2 euros to the Stereo DSD price and for the Combination versions (Stereo + Multichannel or ST+MCH at the web store) another 1 or 2 euros. DSD Samplers are priced at a significant discount to allow listeners to preview music from a specific record label or artist in DSD before buying full albums in DSD. This is generally below the pricing at competing sites, which do not include custom metadata tagging like we do at NativeDSD. We also offer individual tracks in DSD from most albums (with the record label's agreement) with a track by track price so you don't have to buy the entire album if you don't want to. Most competing sites do not offer this individual track purchase option. Another thing to highlight is our program of offering the listener combination pricing and all DSD bit rates for one price. As noted above, when a user buys an album in Stereo and Multichannel DSD at NativeDSD using our ST+MCH option, they only pay a few Euros (or US dollars) more for both versions of the album rather than paying full price for the Stereo DSD download and paying full price again for the Multichannel DSD download. (A couple of music web sites have recently started using combination pricing for DSD releases after it was pioneered at NativeDSD). Along the same lines, we offer listeners lower DSD bit rates at no added cost. So when you buy an album at the DSD 256 or DSD 128 bit rates at Native DSD, you automatically receive the lower DSD bit rates (DSD 64 for DSD 128 purchases and DSD 128 and DSD 64 for DSD 256 purchases) for Free. Very handy when you have a DAC or player in your music room that supports DSD 128 or DSD 256 but your mobile DSD DAC or player only supports DSD 64fs! Apart from the 6 titles from Pentatone Classics mentioned in this thread, we have not altered any pricing. Not of Eudora titles, not of Channel Classics, not of any of the 45 labels on Native DSD Music. Those 6 titles were priced down so that I could find out whether customers prefer to have a coupon code or directly lowered pricing at the web store when we offer discounts and sale pricing. As it turns out, coupon codes spread around in our weekly newsletters are very popular, so Native DSD Music decided not to directly lower any pricing in future sales. Without realizing it you have benefitted from a campaign which should not have even been running anymore I hope you enjoy listening to Julia Fischer playing Tchaikovsky with the Russian National Orchestra in DSD.
