First post and this is an awesome thread and thanks to Ted and the gang for bring us yet another great method for backing up our SACD's.
*** TIP *** When you use this method on an OPPO 105 and I presume a 103 also.... DO NOT have any other media storage devices connected to the other USB ports.
After quite a number of hours and 6 different USB sticks in all forms of format etc..... and nothing worked, it occurred to me that I have a USB drive full of hi-res music plugged into one of the back USB ports. After disconnecting this drive bingo, I am up and running (front USB port) with my first OPPO SACD rip Avalon - Roxy Music at a rate of appox 2.77MB/s over a wired connection into W10 Pro.
I have been using a PS3 for ages and this now offers alternatives. My OPPO is a 105AU with the pro multi-region kit fitted running the lasted official FW.
**UPDATE** Rip finished no problem, converted to DSD and plays perfectly through foobar as an initial test.
