Indeed this is a very long update and I had to click two times on the update button. This is a good improvement, but there is a bug : since this update, the streamer sms-200 present two upnp renderer to "bubbleUPNP" and the playlist management also bug sometime.

I try to update sms-200 to the last version using the UI and as usual the update block at 96% so I have to remove the sd card and copy the new firmware on it using my computer. That begins to be really annoying, I have bought this unit to stop losing time with my audio computer and at the end that's even worst now. But I Have to admit that the sound is very good. Anyway, HD music don't work on my system for months and Sotm hasn't been able to resolve this issue. Do you know another streamer that can compete with sotm sms-200, but without all these bugs and all this lost time trying to resolve bug? I begin to really be ready for a change now 😊😊

I Start/Shutdown my NAS each morning / evening, so it is possible that the SMS-200 activate the DHCP when the NAS start (I use a bridge connection) and my NAS is based on a Windows 2016.

Hi! Since the last update of the sms-200, the DHCP always activate by itself, which make the unit not reachable because I use a direct connection to my NAS. So, each time I have to connect to EUNHASU page, deactivate the DCHP and restart the unit ... then it is reachable again and I can listen to my music. Do you also have this issue?

Yes these are really great product, and "NOS7" is the top of the line of their DAC, it is really better than the "DAC 19". As the name suggest it, this is a NOS (Non Oversampling DAC). It sound very sweet and detailed. Price is around 2500$ but it is a bargain for the price

I would suggest you to try a AUDIO-GD NOS7, I own one and this is really good. OK This is chinese, but a very good product, hand build and 10 years warranty

Hi, Just my 2 cents: audio difference between USB cable are not because of errors caused (or not) by USB cable, because these are all good enough to treat data transfert without any errors. The problem is somewhere else : in a computer, you can see all port like a door, and bad cable will introduce noise inside the computer (like an antenna will reflect noise inside a radio). So this has nothing to see with the capability to treat digital signal, but moreover to keep the device isolated from electrical noise. These electrical noise will reflect inside the streamer/computer and will go in the DAC.

Hi all! I use Windows 2016 GUI mode as a NAS server for my SMS-200 and I use a network bridge to directly connect this streamer to the NAS. As you know, network bridge functionality is not available in a core installation of Windows 2016 Server.
