However, the device also has Chromecast built-in, is a Bluetooth receiver, and acts as a UPnP renderer. It could be a great "universal connector" for an older audio system, or with some powered speakers, be a good minimalist system. I'd rate it the best audio purchase I've made since the Squeezebox "Touch".

Found the source of my problem. piCorePlayer had lost it's proper date & time settings. After I reset the system time, everything started working properly again. I now have a cron job to make sure it stays set correctly. I'd also check it before stating LMS, if the Pi has been rebooted for any reason.

I am testing a new LMS 8 installation on a Raspberry Pi 4 with the latest version of piCorePlayer. I just noticed that if I search for an artist in the Qobuz app, I can display their Songs, but not their Albums.

Or maybe it's just the Internet. One of it's principal purposes seems now to be for angry, frustrated, or antisocial individuals to attack others from behind the safety of their keyboard. You will see this in most public-comments fora, irrespective of topic.

I backed this project a few months ago -- I have been playing with it for about a week now. I used a Pi 2 as the base, as the wireless components in a Pi 3 were reported to introduce noise. I just finished modifying piCorePlayer with the GPIO tweaks discussed in the campaign. I now have a delightful "Steampunk" Squeezebox player, and am re-acquainting myself with vacuum tubes 50 years after my last tube "wireless" (a '50s vintage console AM radio).
