  1. Aaah no! Don't you want Perfect Sound Forever? What if they stopped at Redbook? I'm loving every second of the chase…
  2. Thanks for the tip - it seems to have somewhat solved the issue. I find that now at least if I am not selecting the track, for the most part, the tracks play from the beginning. It still happens off and on, and I can't find a good or consistent reason why it happens, but it's less bothersome. New question: any consideration in this app for DSD to DSD conversion? My DAC only supports up to DSD128, and on the off chance I want to play a DSD256 track, it would seem I'm stuck without some outside conversion perhaps.
  3. First thing I'm gonna try tonight. Thanks!
  4. Hi folks, Sorry to jump in this thread but I've read through it a number of times and can't find a solution to the problem I'm having. I'm trying out A+ and the thing I'm stumbling on is simple track playback. Library looks good, and ultimately the thing sounds very good, but what's happening for me is that almost every track I attempt to start playing waits a few seconds before starting, and then starts, but about half a second to a second into the track. This is true on PCM and DSD tracks, and especially true when switching between them. I've tried adjusting RAM buffer, turning on and off all of the Integer/Direct mode stuff, and System Optimization stuff too. I've set up the forced upsampling to DSD and turned it off as well, and this problem persists through all of it (so far). I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, or if this is just how this application works. I notice that if a track is playing and I jump back to its start, it will then play correctly, not missing anything from the start. But as soon as I jump to another track, it seems like it's waiting to load a bit into RAM, then starts playing, but the play start is not exactly the beginning of the track. I also notice that if I start something playing, jump back to its true start, and leave it playing from there to the next track, it will play the next track correctly (most of the time). Any ideas here? For almost everything else, I'm loving this app, but this playback behavior is the thing preventing me from putting down $. I'm also open to other apps too, but I already really like so much else about A+ that it will be hard to give up. Also - is there any way to try out the iOS app? That's gonna be a large component for me, and I'd like to try it with my setup before buying it if possible.
