  1. Unfortunately it seems the disc is completely unreadable now. VLC wasn't able to make sense of the bin/cue. Maybe if I use that bin/cue to make a new disc, something interesting will happen. Will try that in a couple days.
  2. I did. The tracks were garbage, buzzing and whistling, but of the appropriate lengths. Shortly after that, I took a bin/cue of the disc and forgot about it for several months. I found the disc again yesterday and tried reading it again. This time it's not recognized at all. I figure that something could be divined from the bin/cue, but I have no idea how to proceed. I'm rather keen to make sense of the bin/cue because this disc is the only way to get lossless copies of some tracks. Those tracks are available otherwise through iTunes, but in a lossy format.
  3. I have a CD packed in a yellow cardboard sleeve marked with "RESTRICTED RELEASE WATERMARKED DISC" printed across the bottom, which I bought sealed from a seller on Ebay. Unfortunately, this thing won't play. It won't play in a plain old CD player, nor is it recognized as a valid audio CD on my computers. These things pop up quite a bit on Ebay, so I'm sure there are people here who've seen them. How do you play these things?
  4. I'm interested in looking into modifying sacd_extract such that it supports more players. Would https://github.com/sacd-ripper/sacd-ripper be the place to do it and submit changes?
