  1. It has a 1TB SSD with 447GB free. I first tried to upsample 24/96 FLAC files and tonight will attempt to do them again with extra input from ZB wrt to input and output folders. I may also try some typical Redbook CD 16/44.1 files as well.
  2. It’s an I7-4790 with 16 GB of ram running Win 10.
  3. I am not sure what I did wrong. I would like to have the chance to try again. Where do I find the hardware ID?
  4. While I was away today, my trial version converted five 24/96 FLAC tracks. That’s the good news. The bad news is they were created to MKv4 files will not play in my system so my trial is over. I am not one to be on the bleeding edge. Appreciate everyone’s help.
  5. Listening to you, before I went to bed last night, I pointed PGGB at only one 24/96 album and started it. It never completed and was frozen this morning. Fun experiment but not sure I have the equipment or the time to play around with this. I am using Win 10 on an i7-4790S CPU @ 3.2 GHz with 16 GB of Ram. It doesn’t seem up to the task.
  6. Bricasti M21 i have started a trial conversion of my 24 bit FLAC media folder to DSD128.
  7. My AMS 5.0 does not load. Shows ‘update available’ but never completes. Waiting for Mark et al to fix whatever the issue is. In the meantime, I think am limited to DSD128 via USB.
  8. Hmmm, that will take my 4tbs of media to WELL over 10tbs. I need to think about that before launching. Will start slowly.
  9. Thank you! I will try a trial over this weekend.
  10. I am lazy. I have tried but failed to learn the answer to perhaps a fundamental question re: PGGB. Do I run it on my entire library and thus create a new library or does it need a PC to run it in real time? I use an Antipodes Kala K50 with ~4 TB of internal media. Does PGGN rewrite that media into a higher sample rate? Sorry for perhaps an obvious question.
  11. Thanks Mikey! With that other script, I was able to get it done. Thanks again for all you and others have done on this.
  12. Guys, Happy user for many years but have just ran into a first. I have an OPPO105D, Iso2dsd from 2016 on a Win 10 PC. Just purchased an SACD from Japan and starting my normal process. The gui reads the disc, shows the track list and begins processing track 1. It will not progress any further. I suspect the track names are too long but can’t confirm. It is well over 100 characters long. Is there anything I can do to circumvent this issue? I have never used my MacBook for this but perhaps that might work? tia Craig Arthur Grumiaux Concertbouw Orchestra of Amsterdam Bern - Tchaikovsky Mendelssohn violin concertos (2)/01 - [repeats with track name added.]
  13. I am on the fence as well but don’t have the patience to document my journey with ARC. It works, then it doesn’t. Too busy to care to fix it on my own. I switch to Qobuz and am good to go.
  14. To Kal’s defense I thought the same thing. If you read this thread from the beginning (boring), you would know this is about the special software and process to rip SACDs.
  15. Did you check to make sure the OPPO is still at the address on your network? First thing to check. 192.168.1.???:2002???
