Thanks Mikey! With that other script, I was able to get it done. Thanks again for all you and others have done on this.

Guys, Happy user for many years but have just ran into a first. I have an OPPO105D, Iso2dsd from 2016 on a Win 10 PC. Just purchased an SACD from Japan and starting my normal process. The gui reads the disc, shows the track list and begins processing track 1. It will not progress any further. I suspect the track names are too long but can’t confirm. It is well over 100 characters long. Is there anything I can do to circumvent this issue? I have never used my MacBook for this but perhaps that might work? tia Craig Arthur Grumiaux Concertbouw Orchestra of Amsterdam Bern - Tchaikovsky Mendelssohn violin concertos (2)/01 - [repeats with track name added.]

To Kal’s defense I thought the same thing. If you read this thread from the beginning (boring), you would know this is about the special software and process to rip SACDs.

Did you check to make sure the OPPO is still at the address on your network? First thing to check. 192.168.1.???:2002???

But usually the open discussion isn’t done in a thread with a specific title. In this case the open discussion amounts to nothing more than pissing in the shoes of the OP. -

Why do people feel the need to crap all over a thread on a new MOBO with the same endless arguments that have nothing to do with the original post? -
In the latest ROON update, they touted the following as well one of the changes. Improved buffering and caching for streaming content We’ve made changes to Roon’s buffering and caching infrastructure when playing streaming content. The new implementation is designed to use a lighter touch when interacting with your network and internet connection, making streaming less intensive for your Roon Core. While I have read they claim no impact on SQ, reducing the load on the CPU is one item mentioned in many posts on various audio sites, including AS. i ‘think’ I do in fact, hear an improvement and have others who hear the same benefit. What day you all?

Whatever you did to roll back the issue, I thank you. Now that I am back listening to Qobuz, would you suggest I try to update my i3 silent PC with Windows 10 pro/home? Eg is this something that may happen again in the future? SQ is my primary goal with this PC and My stripped down Win 7 works great. Of course, this week is a wake up call to having to keep up to date. When Win 10 first came out and it was a free upgrade, I tried twice to do it but each time it failed well Into the process and gummed things up. Had to do a complete reinstall of Win 7…
