  1. Hi everyone, I have been there for quite long time but rarely to post comment of equipment. Lately I have done a simple comparison between these three pairs of active monitors. I think these 3 brands are quite similar. Treble, Adam A7x is extremely better in clarity , and power of highs. Bass, HEDD T07 provides much better bass then other two , deep bass with high quality without affects it’s clarity in bass. Mid, all of them provide very good quality , especially vocals and most of instruments. Built quality, I think Adam and Eve they are very similar, but setting and control Eve is better than Adam, coz all setting is by one knob (Button). The worst is HEDD, their surface finishing is much worse than other active monitors brands, very easy to get dirty (very sticky surface), and in my case they have two issues, A. two monitors output level is not equal and B. one of the volume control is defected part, since one has no clicks at 0dB but the other one has this clicks at 0dB like most active monitors do (Finally I have returned it and refunded) Sweet Spot , Both Adam and HEDD have a very sharp and small area for their sweet spot, beyond this area, you will not be able to have desirable listening experience. But Eve is much wider , so you can move your body a bit left or right and you will still have what you want. Hopefully these information is useful for people who want to select their active monitors.
  2. Thanks so much, unfortunately I have a very old thinkpad W500 and almost not used. So I am thinking to try it or not. And for the optical in issue, I tested with my ifi ddc optical out to mytek brooklyn optical input and it works with 24/192kHz, so I guess maybe AK devices optical is not compatible with Mytek. So sad , I hope mytek will provide better firmware update to fix or improve it
  3. Hi , I am new here. I just got my brooklyn (Dec 2016 with latest firmware 2.22 default) and I have 2 problems 1, It should be supported up to DSD256 by USB Connection based on user manual. However, what I can do is only support up to DSD128 (Macbook Pro OS X EL Capitan + Audirvana Plus 2.62 or Jriver 22)---> Coz of Mac OSX? 2. Optical Input works fine from 16/44.1 to 24/176.4kHz, but not able to lock when 24/192kHz. Its shows 24/176.4kHz when I connect to 24/192k (AK240 Optical out) and I can hear intermittent sound which is very weird Anyone has any idea or similar experience ? Appreciated
