  1. I can confirm another successful rip using scenario 2 on Sony BDP-S490. I checked the ISO against a rip done with Oppo 105 and can confirm they were identical Many thanks Nick
  2. No, still no joy Sent from my iPad using Computer Audiophile
  3. Thanks - all up and running now after a reinstall
  4. I tried PlugPlayer as well as Oppo and Arcam's own controllers, but neither showed up i'm afraid.
  5. ...if at first you don't succeed,.... I'm not one to give up easily, so I uninstalled and tried again, and it has now started working - go figure. I have successfully got the Bridge working on a Naim UnitiQute2 with settings Max Sample Rate 96khz, and Format WAV. (NB: LPCM does NOT work, only a loud hissing noise comes out of the speakers) As my UQ2 is connected wirelessly, max playback is at 96khz, but over ethernet I expect 192khz will work fine as well. I have the volume control in Roon enabled, and this works correctly with the UQ2. DSF (DSD 64) files do play when 'convert to PCM' mode is selected. However, this only works if max sample rate is set to 96khz. I had the same results with a Naim Muso. I couldn’t get an Oppo BDP105EU or Arcam AVR850 to work with WAV or LPCM – connection is made but playback never started. regards Nick
  6. Thanks, unfortunately it didn't make any difference
  7. No, I have tried all of them plus an Oppo 105 that was switched off when I took the earlier screenshot. BTW - Bedroom=Naim Muso regards Nick
  8. Thanks for all your help. I have now disabled Bubble and rebooted both ST and router, but it has made no difference, so still showing as not connected. Screenshot of config screen attached Any other ideas? thanks Nick
  9. I am selecting the renderer name from the dropdown list, so 'Office' is correct. Bubble is installed on my NAS but not actively used at present -should I disable it?
  10. Here you go 'Office' is the name I use for the Naim UQ2 thanks Nick
  11. I'm probably missing something obvious, but I can't get the Bridge to show up in Roon. Steps so far.... 1. Installed UPNP bridge package on sonictransporter i5 2. Configured app - selecting Naim UQ2 as the renderer, with 192 max sample rate and WAV, saved 3. Open roon setup and nothing is shown (I'm not using a squeezebox setup) 4. I looked at the app in sonictransporter and it doesn't seem to have an IP address Do I need to do something on my router to get it working, such as open a port? thanks for any help Nick
  12. A handful of others I enjoy... Cinema Paradiso Klute Man on Fire Sicario Sneakers Streets of Fire Jungle Book Wolfen Manhunter Juno Garden State Trainspotting Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Stand by Me Drive Watchmen Ok a few more than a handful Sent from my iPad using Computer Audiophile
  13. I ripped this disc today, and noted that the ISO2DSD log reports it as 5.0 channels, so the error may well be on the disc itself. Here are the relevant lines from the log "Version: 1.20 Track Count: 11 Speaker config: 5 Channel Track list [1]: ......"
  14. I'm not an expert on this at all, so the following link may not be relevant, but Roon has a specific setting when doing DSD to PCM where it has a 6db gain - could this be a similar issue? Nick
