Pretty difficult to know what's going on without some debugging. First make sure it's not hidden in MC for some reason. Right click on the "Player Zone" under Playing Now in MC and go down to the entry "Show/Hide Zone->Hide" and make sure it's not hidden. If it's not, proceed to the next line. Install UPnP tools for developer on your PC and use the Device Spy tool to get the Description.xml from the rendering device and post it.

This is changed in the next build of MC 22 to remove the simplified DSP function checkboxes and only use DSP studio. So far only the linux amd64 build has this. The rest will probably come along early next week.

There is a conflict between the DLNA Audio advanced options resampling and DSP studio resampling which hasn't been resolved yet. It's actually somewhat more complex than it seems because it necessitates changes to the DLNA content directory.
