  1. Frank, I love your every post even if it hurts a little ;-) (e.g. brain)
  2. What's your problem? You have a hot thread, first in many months and probably the biggest traffic on AS in a long time too. Are you afraid that that may be too much for forum servers? Just say a word and I'm sure everyone will be ready to slow down to keep the forum alive. Look, Frank is here, Kuma, jokes, laughing emojis, appreciate, relax, enjoy like others do. But seriously, it's cold and rainy in Swiss Alps, no conditions for skiing, I thought I'd drop by to say good bye to old audio buddies but the situation developed in the unexpected direction, it's so nice here, people are joking, discussing, having fun, I'm just enjoying it. Seems that you can't. Why?
  3. I'm not surprised at all you're waiting with bated breath, after all it seems that this thread, as some have already noticed: is for many here more exciting (and has also more posts) than everything together that's happened on this forum during last six month or so.
  4. That's what some say, only what discussions? These are usually 3 posts per thread, mostly from people with practically zero technical knowledge. Some of the goddamn objectivists were ass(wow, this includes forum initials, sorry)holes but they had at least some technical audio knowledge and some people were coming to CA because of that. It's not only the question of a "couple of guys" that left as some say but also of the fact that no-one and nothing has replaced them except from from @The Computer Audiophile 's peace of mind and dead peace and quite of the forum that (IMO) hit the bottom. Even the music forum is dead except from 2 'albums of the evening' threads, oh sorry, almost forgot about such extremely exciting new threads like 'Christmas Albums' and 'Buddy Rich Was Very Possibly An Unpleasant Person' that are exciting for about 3 people in case of each of them. Of course this is your forum and you can do whatever you want and also everyone can migrate from here (seems that about 90% of a million 🫢users you once mentioned have done it quite long ago, some of their own will, some not) but don't say things like that cause they are as far from the truth as this forum is far from what it once used to be: I have to go now but I will come back to that topic, that is of course if I may.. Edit: I tend to agree with @Samuel T Cogley that all this forum will be remembered for is the MQA thread, there are no more people like the ones who showed what MQA was here.
  5. I revealed what I'm here for in my previous post, if you know better than me, your nick should be AudioPsychic. Or maybe PsychicDoctor (?)
  6. @AudioDoctor and by others who upvoted this, that is: @The Computer Audiophile @Audiophile Neuroscience Is pursuing the truth done by someone in good faith or bad one for you, guys?
  7. Every multichannel guy with gear weighting a ton loves them ;-)
  8. Agree, those could just as well be replaced by "post photo of your John, let's see what you got". I can even see similar reactions to not so great gear, e.g. "small but soooo cute" 😁
  9. A hint: ;-) @The Computer Audiophile I'm asking for the 3rd time about the same thing. Did you lie about Christopher leaving the forum out of his own will and if so - why did you lie? I totally agree with this and and hope to get back to the topic of treating other people with respect also with regard to treating forum users with respect by forum founders:
  10. Did you smell your armpit recently? 🙃
  11. E.g. I'm kindly asking (for a second time if someone can't count to two) is it allowed to ask such question here and get an answer? Don't other users deserve to know for what sins they may be banned here? Beside that this voice of the forum founder's neighbor and buddy (if I remember correctly) somehow tends to suggest that you guys should enjoy this (first 'hot' in a long time) thread cause it may not last for long. Why? Is someone here afraid of revealing some truth, afraid of open discussion, have some forbidden here things have been said on this thread, is someone threatening others with a gun or maybe it's all just too much for this group of sedate gentlemen?
  12. Same here. I agree and I'm afraid that most rich old people smell lifeless and boring, at least to me although I'm not that poor.
  13. From what I see Mr. Christopher (I quite liked his a bit twisted but original threads) only informs about his decision about leaving the "Album of the Evening" thread, not the forum. The search engine here shows he is a "banned user". Am I missing something?
  14. I mostly read and have been reading CA and consecutively AS for a number of years. While not discussing here often I probably have some preference for a slightly more 'toxic' or 'rude' but more dynamic forum over the one on which 2 posts per day appear on average but I can understand the ones who are more active here may have different preferences. That's simply my personal preference but since I don't post a lot I probably shouldn't even express it. I didn't know that I don't always watch AS that close. I tend to agree with this judgment. Gentlemen, forgive me, I didn't mean to spoil the party, I simply wanted to share my reflections. Wishing everyone a happy Christmas.
  15. Seems not so long ago this forum was the place for many interesting or just fun out of topic discussions, now from what I see most knowledgeable or simply funny members active back then who used to bring life here are banned (!!). What is this all about - do moderators here ban the most knowledgeable, active people, doesn't owner or don't owners know what's happening here, that the AS is clearly simply being pacified by such politics, can someone explain that?
