  1. Well holy moly. That was it. The switch on the back was OFF. It works great now. Thank you! I never would have looked there.
  2. Hello - First post here, and I appreciate any help. I'm setting up my new system. I want to play torrents of concerts through a DAC into my stereo receiver, and it ain't happenin'. I have a new 1 Tb laptop with Win 10, into a TEAC UD-301 DAC, and this into a NAD 7220 stereo receiver, into external speakers. I get great am/fm radio sound, so I am part way home, but when I try to play a sound file, I get no sound at all. I've downloaded new drivers, and this DAC is supposed to be compatible with Win 10. While attempting to play, I have right clicked on the speaker icon and chose the DAC as the output device, and this does activate the appropriate 92 khz light on the DAC, and there is evidence (a dancing graphic equalizer animation) in the Groove Tube app that there is music happening in there somewhere. If I try to play with TEAC's own app, it will search and load files and recognize them appropriately, and will "play" them (count down the timer on each song) but again, no sound. I've tried to configure it every way I can guess but have no guidance on specific choices to make. I'm stumped. I'm using cheap cables and have good ones on the way, but I doubt this is the issue. I have the DAC plugged into the CD port on the receiver - options are Phono, CD, and two separate tape inputs, all L/R RCA. Thanks for any advice.
