So should I use both server and client on the same PC?

I am not sure why but I am missing search in HQPlayer Desktop. I want to search for some tracks but there is no search option.

In the past I used this command at boot up to run HQPlayer Run "C:\Program Files (x86)\Signalyst\hqp-control.exe" --play --fullscreen First is it still valid? How to use Random option in it and can I still have album cover displayed in full screen?

I have a library of 4000 songs. I Click on Rnd option to play random music. But it plays same song over and over again. Even if I skip or jump to different song. The software will play next song from the same list. Is there a way to play random music which was not or never played before?

Got it, now while exporting the impulse response, should I use sample rate of 44.1 or 192k? I am up sampling the music to 192k In HQP.

I am working on room measurements using REW. I have the measurements for both Left and right speaker. However when I create filters and export them they are in TXT file format. HQPlayer talks about importing some kind of wav file from REW, but I don't find any additional information on how to get this wav format. Can someone please help me converting these txt measurements into wav format?

Dear All: I hope Someone advises me in appropriate way for equalizer. I have a PC with Windows 2012 Server with JCAT USB CARD FEMTO AUDIOPHILE USB CARD, HQplayer with audiophile optimizer PC is attached to Belcanto ulink, which is linked to mcintosh mx 121 preamp connected to Krell 7 channel power amp which is attached to B&W 802 D2 speakers and Rell g2 subwoofer The equipment is in my living room, I do not wish to go insane with room treatments. Room Dimensions are 26L x 15W x 8H ft. One side of the 26 feet is a wall, while opposite side is all open to dinning, kitchen an hallway. Both sides of 15 ft are closed. I use this room for both Audio and Video. For Audio listening I sit at 12 feet from the speakers making equilateral triangle. While watching movies I sit at 18 feet away. I ran REW (Room EQ wizard) these are the measurments I got I don’t have a choice of moving the equipment around, so I prefer to run EQ filters to solve whatever I can. With McIntosh MX 121 manual EQ, starting frequency of 63 Hz and next one is 125 Hz, so I am already out of Low band frequencies. I was thinking if I could introduce an EQ right on my windows 2012 server and aviod a physical DSP in between my system. I will really appreciate any professional advice, should I use software-based equalizer? Which one is the best and simple EQ? I will prefer if the EQ tweaks itself using measurements from Room EQ Wizard or similar application.

Dear support: I just upgraded my HQPlayer from version 3.21 to version 3.24, but now I am having an error "Cannot start because qwave.dll is missing". I uninstalled and reinstalled but error persists. Any advice?

Thanks for the help, and yes reinstalling graphics driver addressed the problem.

I just upgraded from 3.13 to 3.142, hpqlayer works okay in standard mode, but in full screen I have only white blank screen. I am not sure what went wrong. I am using windows 2012r2 with 32 gig. I believe there is enough power in system. But not sure. Any advice to make work in full screen will be helpful? Video card is built in on motherboard.

i was able play the playlist at startup of the computer. Now how do I add a --Random in a script? I tried just the way I wrote but it did not work. Any advice?
