Hello everyone, since I plan to upgrade to the OpticalRendu deluxe, I am also considering ordering the optical module deluxe. I now used the OpticalRendu in combination with the EtherRegen. Is the additional purchase of the optical module excessive or does it make sense?

Any news about the opticalrendu deluxe? Sold mine opticalrendu weeks ago and hope to buy the new opticalrendu...

You have to disconnect the kii control completely, this means disconnecting the speakers and usb. Then reconnect again.

It also goes into digital audio; the weakest link determines the sound. If I replace the Lush usb for a standard usb cable, the magic is gone.

Grimm mu-1,Taiko, Pink Faun all very serious about audio. They don't build a streamer if a simple nuc performs the same. It's about timing, noise and not about data lost. I had an owner of a Kii system at my house and he was totally blown away by the difference. He played with a bluesound but it was gone the next day. He bought an auralic streamer.

I have discussed this with Bruno, he estimates that with a nuc or standard source you get 90% out of the Kii. I think that percentage is lower. I've used several sources here and they all sound different. I'm using an OpticalRendu now.

I beleve there is also a small switch on the back of the speaker. Analog/digital xlr

yes you can, it can be set. for me they turn off when the speakers are on.

Well now several weeks I listen to the new pin configuration. The change is not subtle, the first impression is a bit more thin, but the space and better texture are immediately noticeable. Yes you have to get used to it but this is just much nicer. Going back to the old situation immediately gives a duller sound image, and I was so happy with the result before... How wonderful is this lush madness!

ok, thanks for this new configuration. I noticed last time that a change in the connections, you have to sit for a day before jumping to conclusions. Perhaps that is why the previous institution did not get a consensus. Maybe it has to do with parasitic capacitance. In any case, I'm very curious.

I wasn't really used to my new configuration yet and there comes the message that the red wire can be removed. Listening the first night was a clear difference for me, but I was quite tired and I know that listening to music doesn't work for me. There was more detail but it didn't relax me. Now I have learned that you should not draw conclusions too early, expectation bias also counts. But in the days that followed I became more and more enthusiastic. The depth placement and a more clear and natural vocals. Focus better etc etc. Really just an extra scoop on top of all important factors. The bass is certainly no worse, from Billie Eilish to Till Brönner Dieter Ilg a thousand kisses remains fantastically beautiful. I would love to join in the search for a better shield configuration but my listening time is quite limited and I now have a moment of all your favorites replaying again because it has become so much nicer. The Lush 3 has replaced the Lush 2 and the uspcb has made way for the Lush 2. So the chain is OpticalRendu / IsoRegen / Kii Control I've been listening to the latest change for at least three weeks now. Adding the Lush 3 gives a big improvement, it seems to play louder, or with more energy. Highs are much more refined. The sound image is also better, maybe a little bigger, but above all better focus and placement in depth. Actually all changes that I did not immediately expect and also nothing that I imagined. By the way, I had also agreed with Peter Stordiau to return the cable if it would not be an improvement for me, that was no problem. I was also very satisfied with the sound, I certainly wanted to improve on some details but I was critical of whether a second Lush would bring something more. Sending the cable back to Peter is not going to happen. Much has been written about the Lush 2 but I believe the Lush 3 has a lot more to offer. Although my change also concerns the removal of the uspcb, I expect the latest generation of cables from Peter to be a fantastic asset.
