  1. This is the information on the Spotify website: Five Things to Know About Spotify HiFi — Spotify Based on this I think the answer on your question is Yes - maybe after an upgrade of the supported codecs of Spotiy Connect on the HAP-Z1ES.
  2. Thanks for warning me HAP music transfer was released. Installed the mac-version on my Apple MacBook Pro.
  3. SonyHAP -Z1ES - Apple MacBook Pro -HAP Music Transfer for Mac v1.3.1 - Apple macOS 10.15 Catalina - 64-bit software The most recent release (HAP Music Transfer for Mac v1.3.1 - 09-02-2017!) of the Mac-version of the HAP Music Transfer software is not working since I upgraded my Apple MacBook Pro to Apple macOS 10.15 Catalina. I presume this is because Apple macOS 10.15 Catalina from now on only supports 64-bit software. Apple already warned that the 'HAP Music Transfer for Mac' software should be updated by the supplier in previous macOS versions. I can still drag an drop music files (also in folders and subfolders) on my Sony HAP-Z1ES via a Finder-window on my MacBook Pro: connect to server (IP-address HAP-Z1ES) as guest in my case (drop music-files organised in folders/subfolders in a subfolder 'drag-drop' I created in the rootfolder HAP_Internal).

  5. You can find an item about the Spotify Connect stream rate on https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Spotify-Connect-Stream-Rate/m-p/637202#M25375
  6. Is Spotify Connect (and TuneIn) not good enough? I also have Qobuz Sublime+ to download H-iRes audio files on my HAP-Z1ES with HAP Music Transfer.
  7. I think this is answered on this link: http://helpguide.sony.net/ha/hapz1es/v1/en/contents/TP0001220509.html
  8. Spotify Connect is now supported. A great add-on.
