Apologies, I neglected to state what I'm trying to achieve with this project: I need a system that allows me to access my audio files from both my PC, for headphone listening, and using an Ipad as a remote for controlling output from the Odroid into my HiFi setup. Thanks, Liam

Hi There! I'm planning to put together a fairly cheap audio server and could use some input from you lovely experts. What I've got so far: Odroid C2 (probably running Volumio) QNAP TS 251 NAS (2x 1TB WD Red HDDs) AQ Jitterbug and an UpTone Audo USB Regen (read a few of things about these two working well together) All feeding into a DAC which has not been decided yet, but for the purposes of this post, lets say it's a Schiit Yggdrasil. I have a few questions: Would the signal from the Jitterbug and UpTone Regen be the best quality for the Yggdrasil? Would the use of a linear power supply for the Odroid improve the audio quality at all considering the DAC will be isolated? Does the quality of the NAS and/or the router have any significant bearing on the quality of the audio? Thanks in advance, Liam
