If you intend keeping and using the copies you at least should have some regard for the recording artist, get your hand out of your pocket and pay fot it. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile

It should have read 'booming bass'. -

I have now removed the uptone regen from my system. Sat between an Auralic Aries and Vega dac, powered by a battery using the Curious Cable, the sound became exaggerated, overly bright highs and booming base. The best upgrade I've made recently was the sbooster power supply for the Aries, which leads me to think about going down the mains conditioning route. -

Official Roon Build for Synology and QNAP

Have just been pricing a Synology nas with the required spec along with the roon subscription, could not justify that spending that. -
I have found the Regen too bright for my system between an Auralic Aries/Vega dac. A battery power supply certainly improved the sound but still too bright with a more extended bass. From what I've been reading it has improved the Aries for other systems which leads me to think it maybe an issue with the Vega dac. The system speakers are a pair of active Quadral Orkans with their magnetostatic foil tweeter, not normally known for their brightness.

Airplay Spotify from iPad/iPhone to the Aries or use Qobuz or Wimp depending on your location.
