  1. One more question - how On/Off power switch works? Does it perform correct shutdown of Sonicorbiter OS or it's better to choose System / Power Down from menu before turning unit off?
  2. @vortecjr I'm noticed that Roon shows "Uncertified" warning for Sonore Signature Rendu - is it normal behaviour? Am I correctly understand that certification is in progress?
  3. Could you please reveal what you have done in Sonicorbiter to achieve this? Is it something related to process priorities or kernel settings? I've struggled with bad RoonReady sound since I've bought Microrendu more than a month ago, so I'm really curious about latest changes.
  4. Updated Sonicorbiter and noticed that period count is fixed - thank you very much, vortecjr ! And I discovered also sonic improvements in RoonReady 1.1.10 - this is a real surprise.
  5. Default settings don't work in my case. I have excellent sound with MPD which uses 500ms buffer by default. But Squeezelite sounds simply bad with default buffer. And 480 ms buffer changes makes Squeezelite sound close to MPD. Same story is for RoonReady - it uses 100ms buffer that cannot be changed and sounds absolutely flat and thin, I cannot listen it. May be these issues are specific for my DAC, so I really need to have control over ALSA settings. And if you have a textbox for period count it should definitely work.
  6. Usually squeezelite sounds better for me with larger buffer than default. It would be great if you fix setting, thank you.
  7. Hi vortecjr, I've found one more issue with Squeezlite settings page - it seems that Period Count setting is ignored. For example, when I set Buffer Size to 480ms and Period Count to 4, DAC diagnostics shows period_size: 10584 and buffer_size: 21168. This corresponds to 2 as period count - not 4. And every other setting for period count is ignored too - DAC diagnostics always shows 2. Is it possible to fix this in next firmware version?
  8. I'm trying to play DSD64 and have no problems with PCM on microrendu. I also have no problems with playing DSD converted to PCM through manually configured Squeezelite instance on Odroid C2 - I simply disable DSD codec via -c command line switch and have DSDPlayer converting DSD on server. So I think there are two problems with Sonicorbiter for me: 1. I cannot see Squeezelite log - it's really hard to figure out the problem without log. 2. I cannot provide additional command line switches to Squeezelite.
  9. DSDPlayer by Triode is single DSD related plugin in official repositories. PlayDSD was its initial version authored by Triode too in 2014 and it was available in development repository. Do you really want me to find it somewhere?
  10. Plugin is called DSDPlayer now. Here are settings with it:
  11. Can you give me SSH login details for microrendu in private email? I'm familiar enough with Linux and LMS/squeezelite ecosystem to see the logs and find an issue.
  12. Bryston Bryston USB Audio 2.0 at usb-ci_hdrc.1-1.1, high speed : USB Audio Playback: Status: Stop Interface 1 Altset 1 Format: S32_LE Channels: 2 Endpoint: 1 OUT (ASYNC) Rates: 44100, 48000, 88200, 96000, 176400, 192000 Data packet interval: 125 us
  13. I also tried this setup with Oppo HA-2 portable DAC and it is working flawlessly in all modes - None, Dop, Native. The issue is only with BDA-2 and I guess that squeezelite doesn't determine highest sampling rate correctly.
  14. Uninstalled plugin but result is the same - silence on trying to play DSD. DAC even doesn't indicate that playback is started. DAC diagnostic page confirms that. Is there any way to see squeezelite log?
