  1. Hi skypickle, That is the old image we did in cooperation with Squeezeplug. We have since then added new features. You can take a look at a demo of our web interface here. The default Raspberry Pi image at the top is our starter image, in there, you can add all the plugins mentioned, they are listed here on our website. If you have a specific sound card, we have specific images for IQaudIO and HiFiBerry as well as an image for the 7" Raspberry Pi Touchscreen. However, the default image automatically includes the once-click installer of the Squeezebox Server with its plugins (Spotify, Google Music, DLNA, TIDAL, etc.) and the headless player Squeezelite preinstalled which shows up in your server under the name Max2Play until you rename the device. @zackthedog: Have you checked out some of our documentation? I made a and . We also have a small wiki where we address the most common issues users have had on our support forums wherein you can also search for specific issues or applications since its pretty active with great people realizing some amazing projects with our software.Regarding your DAC, which one do you have? If its a USB-DAC, you need to select the USB-DAC option in the Raspberry Settings. It automatically activates the default USB-DAC driver for RPi. Max2Play is intended to work headless and without SSH commands, so should be able to configure everything through our web interface.
  2. Thanks! Here is the download page where you will find images for Odroid C1, C1+, XU3, XU4, U2, U3, U3+
  3. Have you looked into the Raspberry Pi (or Odroid) as an option for your central system? You can let it run both the Squeezebox Server (which has plugins for TIDAL, AirPlay, DLNA, DSD & FLAC file support, Spotify, Google Music, etc.) and the Squeezelite player. Our images have one instance of Squeezelite preinstalled and a one-click installer for the Squeezebox Server. Here is some info on the audio capabilities if you are interested.
  4. Hi skypickle, Our free images have a TIDAL plugin for the Squeezebox system in addition to AirPlay, DLNA, Spotify and Google Music. Check out the download here if you are interested.
  5. Thanks for mentioning us, Ronnie! And thanks for championing our efforts by using us. We also recently added a Google Music plugin, regarding your mention of Tidal and Spotify. We actually have a sound card selection option in the Raspberry Settings menu. There, just select your sound card (we have the generic USB DAC drivers for Raspberry Pi as a selection, too) and click save, and the Squeezelite player has an option added for the sound card's output. All configurations are done like this using your own web interface accessible from any device in the local network by just typing "max2play/" in the browser.
  6. Hi guys, I read your posts on the music server multiroom possibilities of the Raspberry Pi with excitement and thought I would mention our project here, since it pretty much has a hundred percent crossover with your expectations and needs. Max2Play is a community project. We have been working on a perfect solution for multiroom audio applications with the Pi since our first collaboration with SqueezePlug. Our current images offer a preinstalled instance of Squeezelite, a one-click installer of the Squeezebox Server (7.9 nightly), a simple but detailed web interface for easy configuration, one-click implementation of all HiFiBerry and IQaudIO sound cards, easy implementation of Jivelite as a graphic interface for touchscreens or monitors and many more extensions. The latter two require a premium license which is our way of keeping the project going, but the basic options and all images are free. (Downloadpage) We would love it if an audiophile community like you guys could give us some feedback on our software since audio applications have been the main focus of our images from the start. Also, if you have any questions or comments already, I would appreciate it, as well. I hope I do not break any informal board rules by posting here, just thought our work might interest you. Best Regards Heiner from Max2Play
