  1. Those of us waiting for the WAVE must love that we got yet another update with another new drawing along with newly told lies to accompany those drawings. I say lies because LHL no longer has a marketing team who are good at covering up lies with pictures, graphs, Larry qoutes, videos, charts, and surveys. Now it's so much easier to see through the double-talk. Here are some favorites. 1. The Coronavirus is NOT majorly impacting the development timeframe now. The development in Taiwan is still working as usual. The mechanical design part is also as good. Our CNC factory is busier than usual but still controllable. [[LOL!!! - what timeframe?; what development in Taiwan?; Since when does LHL have a "CNC factory" (maybe they are referencing the fancy Egg factory that Larry sent pictures of during a previous year of similar lies?); and don't bother explaining how "development in Taiwan is still working as usual" because "working as usual" means nothing real is really happening]] 2. We are looking at a final working model to be produced sometime this Summer at this point. [[So... with all these teams and factories and drawings (all of which are similar stories we've heard over and over during these years), LHL hopes to have "a final working model" in the Summer. Which singular model? Why one? What about others? They don't mention the next steps such as testing, tweaking, up-selling, moving back to china, starting over with drawings when it's outdated again, and etc. to find a way towards shipping]] 3. The software team is working on the software, optimizing the DSD playback part and also improving buffer for bluetooth playback. Also, no worries for obsolete bluetooth. The Bluetooth we have in Wave is version 5.0. [[What software team? Where are they? Who are they? Why are they working on things that Larry has claimed many times over many years were already being worked on, or completed]].
  2. It's too funny for words that Jarek spends any time trying to defend his honor. And being angry about being called a liar takes the cake. And while Jarek and Larry and the rest of the past LHL major players can probably find truths that they've told, that doesn't help when they lie so frequently and about things that matter (you know, saying things along the lines of ... Upgrade now and we'll ship the upgraded models first; we have final design of x,y,z product; we have all parts in house and most units built and ready to ship; we shipped most products; the x,y,or,z product will ship out next week/month/ etc., etc). And then LHL voices tend to disappear and never explain how or why promises made were not kept. Instead they tend to stay silent or change the subject to lying about different campaigns for months or years without returning to previous unkept promises or any explanation for those. And in the mean time they have the audacity to repeat some of those lies a year later and a year later, with minor adjustments. As example: The last official Source update was more than one year ago and the previous update was one year before that! All three of the last updates were aimed at USA buyers but we are still waiting for delivery. All promised deliveries and yet the updates have stopped and most Source's never were received: Source Update 1/08/19 Modified on: Tue, 8 Jan, 2019 at 2:19 PM We have SE Sources in-house. We have 2 built and being finalized right now, and 3 more being worked on. When I get any more information over these, I'll post that immediately for everyone. Source Update 12/01/18 Modified on: Sun, 2 Dec, 2018 at 1:16 AM We have received the 20 Toradex SOM boards for the Source SE to the United States office. Over the next few weeks the office will work on building the Source SE units and the next 10 will ship out. We have another shipment of 30 motherboards on order and will be updating you when those arrive to the office. You can view the picture of the boards below in the attached file. The LHL Team Source Update 9/5/18 Modified on: Wed, 5 Sep, 2018 at 12:18 AM Hey everyone, Here is the latest news for this campaign: For the Source Signature, we have completed the Asia backers' orders shipping out from Singapore. Now we have 18 more to go in the USA and Europe. The Toradex SOM board delayed the shipping. It should be here in two weeks, then we will finish building/shipping these SE versions out. Regarding the software, the current the version is already upgraded to 1.03 (originally is 1.01) which every new unit will include. Next main version 1.1 will add Roon support too. Currently the feedback from backers who received the Source are generally positive on software. But we received some good suggestions too and will add those suggestions/features in 1.04 and 1.05. When we have more information over the shipment and development, we'll let everyone know! The entire LHL team
  3. Jared stuck limo, please give actual information. Really, try harder. As I read this, I see 1. ha ha ha. You guys often claim "shipped" and then nobody gets anything. Or a couple of people out of dozens/hundreds do. 2. "we shipped out some" "in-stock inventory". More, ha ha ha. Now everyone else waiting can wait for after this Chinese New Years and the next and then next... As usual, "we are shipping" turns into "we claim to have shipped something and maybe we did and maybe we didn't but for those of you who receive nothing in the next weeks, you should feel hopeful for as long as you possibly can". 3. ha ha ha ha ha.... you want a handful of people from one of many failed campaigns (the Pulse) to wait for a "more formal announcement". WTH. Same old BS. .....What about the campaigns shipping ZERO over and over even when you say you are ready to do final build, or ready to ship, or etc. Namely, Source, Wave, and ViDac.
  4. LHL Wave UPDATE #188: It’s like LHL just makes updates in order to add salt to the wounds of their investors – since there’s obviously no hope, much less any plan, about HOW anything will ever be manufactured much less delivered or refunded. This 2020 update is no more than another drawing- after all these years! LHL's lack of an actual doable plan has eroded from the early days of fancy marketing talk (now understood as lies) to rare and minimal project updates (on this or that dead campaign). Only now they don't even pretend to have a plan (well last year they did claim a few Vi DACs and Source's would ship, but no one believed it because we know better by now. And guess what, nothing shipped). So why update? I've asked myself that question for at least a year.
  5. All those who contributed to the spreadsheet of losses - please check your email and Spam for email from: [email protected]. The deadline is Jan. 3rd to confirm that you will "join the complaint". To join you need to read the email and attachments and send back one document. Happy New Year!
  6. I really think Indiegogo has the values and actions of serious criminals - they only care about easy money. Lucky for them that they have created a website platform that just sits there and generates just that - easy money ("crowd funding"). Gogo does nothing but provide this web platform. Anyone can post any (marketing) campaign in the hopes of generating cash. People post ideas with the best marketing they can muster and then see how much money rolls in. Gogo doesn't care if a campaign makes nothing, $5, or 50 million because their job is done and they get a cut for doing nothing but providing the website platform. Sure, some campaigns actually deliver on promises but the odds are not good for those contributing money. This is because some campaigns are scams from the start and many more "want to provide what they promise" but aren't equipped to do so. A campaign can fail at any point. Starting from the beginning, it's easy to find campaigns that set goals far too low and even when they exceed the goal it's literally impossible to pay what it takes to design, test, manufacture, and ship the product. Let's not forget the money is not accounted for by anyone. How and when a campaign spends the money that they collected is up to them. Gogo appears to enjoy a legal loophole that allows this insanity. That loophole needs to become a noose. Any of us can create a marketing campaign of fancy photos and exciting text promising the moon for a "low - low price" and post it on Indiegogo. If the marketing generates even a dollar, Gogo takes their cut and sits back doing nothing. The person(s) posting the campaign collect and then do whatever they wan with the money. -AFAICT
  7. To help new people to this forum to find recent important updates: Posts #784, 785, 790 have the latest official updates on what is happening and how you can still join the complaint to the California Attorney General.
  8. Markus, Please let us know here when the emails go out to those on the spreadsheet. I just want to make sure I don't miss it. Thanks,
  9. LHL has thousands of my dollars. I ate up their BS marketing lies. The only positive outcome was learning an expensive lesson - DON'T TRUST ANY CAMPAIGN on INDIEGOGO (and always remember that all marketing and advertising is just an image being sold, not necessarily related to truth). Sure, some campaigns turn out legit, but Indiegogo itself is a legal version of a pyramid scheme. Indiegogo could care less who markets what on their site because they get paid each time any person contributes to any campaign. Larry and every single person ever associated with LHL marketing, sales, or customer relations seem to lack honesty or integrity.
  10. YES! - Current legal action is discussed and acted upon in this very thread .... and also here:
  11. My favorite part is "the top is designed for perfect air flow". That's a major accomplishment, I guess. The really amazing part is that while it will have perfect airflow it will also have "enough finger room to reach in for tube swaps, while also avoiding mass exposure to dust". WOW! - massive airflow, holes, AND avoiding a mass of dust. How does Larry do it? No more drawings, build this amazing box!
  12. If only it were a bonafide box! - Alas, it's a drawing of a concept box from a man who has squandered it's funding over years of promises and box designs (and even a few completed units along the way). So this box drawing still needs to be manufactured, fitted with the internal components board and loaded with firmware and tested AS A PROTOTYPE. And then ... all over again. And then shipped....
  13. Vi DAC has an update. It's the third official Indiegogo update in over a year. All three of the last 3 updates have been about producing the case. In case you missed this update: After all these years LHL has (again) reached the concept of (yet another) prototype - of the case. No information or update is provided about the internal components, or CCX modules, or software, or the timeline, or compatibility and availability of the other related products, or whether manufacturing can be financed. Cry or laugh? Move on. Again.
  14. FWIW, I was able to get an update by emailing "sales" instead of Paul. I received a polite apology and great news - that my SR4 was nearly complete and would ship early this week. Well, I never received a shipping notice so I inquired with Sales on Wednesday afternoon and have not heard back. I don't appreciate either (missed shipping dates, no communication, or, incorrect communication). So, I'm still waiting for accurate communication and shipment.
  15. January. That's sounds nearly criminal more than happy. How many updates did you get during a 6 month wait?
