I have a Denon AVR-x4300h and a USB drive connected to it. The drive contains various FLAC and DSD files. When I play music from the drive, and press "Info" on the Denon's remote, it displays the "Signal" as "PCM". I'm new to digital playback and wondering if the Denon is converting the signal in any way and preventing me from actually listening to DSD and FLAC files as designed.

I'm also listening to Jenna Mammina - Close Your Eyes. I find her voice to be very soothing after a long day at the office. Additionally, the DSD resolution quality is absolutely outstanding. Jenna Mammina | Close Your Eyes | Blue Coast Records
