  1. Thank you, 57gold. I planned to buy the shorter length (0.6m) of Oyaide Neo d+ FireWire cable at almost the same price.
  2. Thank you, David. I'll explore your suggestions. My Mac Mini is a late 2012 model and has a FireWire port to it.
  3. Thank you for your reply, huaklom. Mytek Stereo 192 DSD DAC has ASIO driver for Windows OS and thus playback of DSD in native format but as for Mac OS X, it doesn't have one and thus playback of DSD through DoP protocol. Root cause seems to be Mac OS X all these while. Now that Decibel 1.3 music player has finally came up with ASIO driver for Mac OS X, I'm unsure whether any further input from Mytek is required before those with Mac OS X machines could playback DSD in true native format.
  4. Hi all, I've picked up a brand new Mytek Stereo 192 DAC very recently and love the playback of my PCM music with it. My computer is Mac Mini with OS X Yosemite (ver 10.1) and I wish to enquire whether DSD files could be playback in native format with ASIO driver. Decibel 1.3 music player (see exaSound site for details) is claimed to offer Mac OS X ASIO support. TIA
