I agree with the sentiment that maintenance cycles for 2.8 and even 2.9 seem to have slowed down. Which could be because the product is mature now. I hope a new product will be launched on the Rendu series as generally speaking that leads to renewed attention for the software side of all Rendus.

It has no fuse, but I guess all amps you would use do have a fuse and your house too.

Sometimes, when changing from 44 to 48 (or a multiplication of that) sound is sttange/distorted, a little high pitched. Pause and restart solves this. Not frequently enough to be fully reproducible, in my opinion. I use SRX-DX, not the usb of my Mscaler.

You might also consider the Wireworld Matrix two (I use it with my Topaz, feels good but I did not do any direct comparisons)
