  1. Update: I could never determine why I couldn't access the web interface. I believe the dietpi version on the shipped eMMC was an older version, because it would not let me update using the "dietpi-update" command using a keyboard and monitor connected to the USBridge. Finally I decided to reflash the eMMC, which was a little daunting because I have had no idea what I was doing. Turned out pretty simple because the eMMC just pulls off the circuit board. Then I plugged the eMMC into the adapter included with the USBridge. Plugged that adapter into a micro/SD adapter and then into the SD card slot of my macmini. Unfortunately the Etcher program could not see the card, so I switched to a USB connected micro SD adapter. Etcher immediately discovered the eMMC, so I flashed the downloaded DietPi image. DietPi is now working fine and accessible through the web gui. So problem is solved.
  2. On the Boss Player, I flashed Volumio onto a microSD card and it all works great now. Issue resolved. Still trying to determine why the USBridge DietPi Gui is not accessible.
  3. Yes, I tried the IP address for the unit: 192.168.0.xx. I get the same message as if I enter dietpi.local.
  4. Update: After plugging in a monitor, discovered the Boss Player microSD card has not been flashed with Volumio or DietPi or any other audio software. Will update once this is done. Any recommendations for Volumio vs DietPi with the Boss Player to use as a Roon Bridge and for Audirvana Plus? Thanks for any assistance. P.S. The USBridge problem is different. It is flashed with DietPi and is working as a Roon Output. However still not accessible via http://dietpi.local.
  5. Update: Using a monitor, discovered DietPi is installed. However, I still cannot access from my macMini with both connected via Cat cables to the LAN. I.e. typing http://dietpi.local cannot find IP address. Router compatitbility/settings issue? Output from the USBridge to my Audiophilleo1 USB/SPDIF converter does not work. Only noise. Output from the USBridge to my Resonessence Concero HP via Roon does work. Implies DietPi is working and Roon Bridge enabled. Other than Roon, I cannot discover elsewhere. Issue is still how to access the DietPi software from my macMini to change settings such as enable GSMrender to enable UPnP for Audirvana output. Boss Player issue is different. Discovered my included microSD card has not been flashed with Volumio or DietPi. If anyone can suggest how to access DietPi from my mac, I would appreciate the help.
  6. I just purchased a USBridge and Boss Player, but I'm having troubles with the setup. Neither device appears on my network when I try to set them up by typing http://volumio.local, volumio.local, http://dietpi.local or dietpi.local. For the USBridge, it is supposed to ship with "dietpi" on the eMMC card. When I do plug in all cables and the power, the following happens: A) Sparky Board: Solid blue light, plus slow flashing red light; B) USBridge Board: Solid red light; C) Sparky Board: Opposite side with the LAN connector: Green light with slow flash. When I try to access the unit via http://dietpi.local or dietpi.local (or volumio) I can get the following message: "dietpi.local's server IP address could not be found." Note, I'm using a macmini (High Sierra, late 2014). Both units were attached to the router with CAT8 cable (tested one at a time). I used the included 5V power supply plugged into the DC input. Output via the analog single USB output to an Audiophilleo1. The Audiophilleo is an USB to S/PDIF converter, which was then plugged into an NAD M2. Note, when trying Audirvana Plus (version 3.2.6), there is a sound output option for "UPnP DietPi-Squeezelite," however, when I try to choose it, the selection does not work, and it goes back to the previous output. Likewise, in Roon, sometimes it shows up, sometimes does not. When I do manage to select and play, it only outputs noise. With the Boss Player, I'm having similar problems. Never shows up for configure. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
  7. I just received a Boss Player and USBridge but having troubles with the setup. Neither device appears on my network when I try to access with volumio.local or dietpi.local. I tried them one at a time, with the other device not hooked up. The Boss Player was supposed to be shipped with Volumio already flashed on the SD card. I'm not sure what the issue is, for example whether the SD card was not flashed, or if I have some other hardware/connection issue. Note, this is my first experience with any RPI devices, so consider me a newbie. On the Boss, a red light is on (solid) on the same side as the single USB C power input. I left the jumper on at setup. When I first power up, a green light also flashes for a short time before disappearing. There is also a slow flashing amber light on the other side next to the LAN connection. When I type in volumio.local or http://volumio.local I get the following message: "volumio.local’s server IP address could not be found." When I type in dietpi.local or http://dietpi.local I get the same message: "dietpi.local's server IP address could not be found." Thanks for any help!
  8. Pleasure doing business with you. The SOtM arrived safely and working as advertised. Thanks also for the fast shipping!
  9. Abtr, I just discovered and read through the thread. You seem to have tested for many variables, including different source computers that suffer from the same issues. The only possibility that I do not recall you testing for is the power supply to the source computers. Perhaps it could be a problem with the power cord to the source (if using the same cord for the different sources), or even the power outlet to the computer source. Perhaps test again with different power cords and/or different wall outlet (no power bar, conditioner, UPS, etc). I know many digital components can be very sensitive to power issues. My NAD M2 Integrated specifically warns about this in their documentation. Good luck
