I simply don't get this product. It's not a Pro audio device, and even for home studio use, a single analogue stereo input? Does anyone still mix in analogue these days to produce an analogue master? -

Not really Chris. MQA folding is hierarchical, so the lossless 44/24 folded MQA file is passed bit-perfectly to the Explorer by Roon. The Explorer then unfolds as much of the file as it can handle, ostensibly 172/24 in this case. Having said that, IIRC I saw something which said that the Explorer can actually handle 8x at the DAC itself. Was it this Q&A or somewhere else? -

Meridian Audio (the UK firm) doesn't make wireless speakers and never has (though ironically many have been wanting them to do so for years). Did you mean something else? -

The masters of the back catalogue from much of the 1980s and almost everything earlier than the '80s are analogue.
