Damn seems I somehow killed wlan on my pi 3 running runeaudio for ... Frank says it's not possible but after I failed setting up wlan for a whole day, there is no wlan0 in the network list of runeaudio anymore... Can you think of anything? Can I somehow fix this? Debug says there is no wlan extension. Here is the debug http://pastebin.com/k4n3q5KW

Was thinking about switching to odroid c2 but AFAIK there is no runeaudio for this, right now. I am struggling a bit with wifi on my pi 3 but still have to try some things. After I get wlan running I will try to store files on the micro SD. But I allready plan an odroid setup. I have to say I really like the official pi 3 case. Is there an equivalent to this for odroid with touchscreen option? Cheers

He there, I am trying to build a music server using raspberry pi 3 and I ran into problems...don't now what to install on SD card, though volumio was ready for pi 3 but it turns out is not... Is there a working release of Moode or something comparable? Cheers

OK so you are saying that a setup with uRendu and a Qnap NAS will work and can be controlled via smartphone?... Just to be clear can this work in a offline situation as well? Is it possible to connect uRendu and Qnap and then access via a created Hotspot or a direct WiFi connection between phone and NAS? PRETTY PLEASE SAY YES

Hmm too bad... So there is no way to have a NAS which acts as DHCP and can create a WIFI for Android controls? There must be a way to create a preferably portable solution with one box for all... I am zeroing on the uRendu and it will be most likely be my next step... But I need a simple one box solution for storage and access. Is the uRendu available to purchase from the EU, maybe Germany? Thank you John for this detailed awnser. I think a solution with phone control would be the best for me. I do have mobile Internet, so I can create a Hotspot. From there I need to find a simple way to connect my music files via Ethernet. Can The black box be a DIY raspberry pi solution? Or is there a turn key solution that doesn't break the bank?
