I bought HQP 4.16.1 less than a month ago and it worked great without an internet connection. . HQP 4.16.2 and 4.17.1 now require one. I would keep 4.16.1 if ROON did not also update requiring 4.16.2 or higher,

I have done the same thing. It's amazing that HQPlayer no longer respects that some of us have audiophile systems that do not connect to the internet. I have a headless system which it runs as efficiently as possible and it has taken quite a bit of effort to get it so.

Do you have a huge problem with people who haven't paid for the HQPlayer license? This internet requirement isn't listed on your web page and it makes my version of HQPlayer and Roon unusable as I don't want that computer connected to the internet.
