  1. Thanks for the explanation both of you. So am I right in concluding that, when powering a SBT, the SMPS/LPS-1.2 is drawing the same amount of watts as the original SBT wall wart psu? The specs of the original SBT psu says 5VDC 3A but as far as I can hear the LPS-1.2 is doing fine with no loss of dynamics, though I haven't done an A/B comparison yet.
  2. Yes, I mean running with no load. ATM I'm using the LPS-1.2 to power my Squeezebox Touch and the LPS-1.2 is quite hot while the SBT is off/standby. That's why I wondered what the power consumption is when it's running with no load? Thanks, Sebastian
  3. What is the power consumption in watts/hour of the SMPS energizer when the LPS-1.2 is in standby mode? Is it recommended to leave the LPS on 24/7 for best performance and are there any drawbacks?
  4. If you remove the top lid then you can see the DC voltage printed in white on the trafo. Mine is 7VDC. From what I've read over on Head-Fi.org the Singxer should be better due to a newer XMOS chip. But I've modded the hell out of my Gustard U12, so I'm quite pleased with it now.
  5. This is okay. I have the same Accusilicon clocks in my model and they are high quality clocks. On par with NDKs.
  6. I myself can confirm that the NewClassD DX7805 +5v indeed does work as a substitute for the LM317D2T on the U12. The DX7805 +5v works flawlessly although it's a bit tricky to fit into the box.
  7. Can anybody please confirm that the NewClassD DX7805 +5v indeed does work as a substitute for the LM317D2T on the U12 (not the U10 which is already confirmed by Harpy in his thread). It's the same regulator as this DEXA-70908 from partsconnexion.
  8. I think eltee00 has decided not to sell. At least that's what he told me.
