  1. Hi Jussi, I would like to ssh/sftp onto it to manage it. Which is a very common way and the way I manage all my linux/Unix systems, OS independently. Most embedded board image files come with default credentials, for users to change themselves.
  2. Jussi, any luck you made ssh available in the new BBB image? If so what are the acount credentials for the image?
  3. Thanks Jussi, I had seen the thread before I asked the question. I hoped you were aware of a better way then what's discribed there. Unfortunatly neither Roon nor Muso are cutting it for me in comparison to Foobar2000.
  4. Thanks Ted for your 2 cents. Ad 1. I Didn't ask for an integration discussion, just a pointer and neither was the question addressed to you. Ad 2. As later questions were answered, my question seemed ignored (Jussi, you can correct me if I'm wrong), hence my reminder, patience had nothing to do with it. Ad 3. That thread discribes a bodge, nothing more. Have a nice day.
  5. Hi Jussi, You mentioned Foobar2000 was made to work with the new HQPlayer API. Can you give me a pointer to some more info on how this was done?
  6. Ray, great to hear you had a breakthrough. If my instruction needs any clarification or if I made a mistake, please let me know? @Miska, One reason why we are keen to use the Botic driver is the fact that it allows for an external clock feed to the BBB, by using additional isolation/clocking boards like the Twisted Pear Cronus/Hermes and Acko's S03. We have done side by side comparisions with the RPI(natively clocked) and various USB cards, and the reclocked BBB was prefered. One question I have, in HQPlayer on the mainscreen there is a selection field, for auto/PCM/SDM. As my dac is PCM only, I manaully select PCM here. However, after every restart of HQPlayer this defaults back to "auto". Is there a way of permanetly leaving it in PCM?
  7. Thanks David, I'll post some more suggestions I have in the other thread
  8. Just started playing Roon -> HQPlayer, very impressive combination and no instabilities yet (even though this combination is still in Beta). My first and only gripe is the volume slider in Roon, on the IPad is to short and finicky. Since its a pop-up, it would make sense to give it a bit more reale state, like the whole of vertical side of the screen (in lanscape). Thanks, I'll be following this thread with intrest.
  9. Thanks, I'll relay that information to some of the other users of your software over at DIY Audio. I agree, I didn't know what some of the values stood for, but some don't seem to make sense. Due to the reassignment of some of the GPIO pins multi I2S interfaces are a feature. But I don't know of anybody who's tried this. I've been playing through the BBB via NAA, and it seems stable using PCM/96000/24. I'll start experimenting with other bitrates. Thanks again.
  10. This did the trick! 11. Thanks, I'll give all this a try and report back. Miero has just suggested:" Please try NAA with S24_LE or S32_LE format." Where can I change these?
  12. Hi Miska, Thanks for your reply. (sorry I just emailed you with the same question, please ignore the email). I have no luck yet..
