  1. Does the sMS-200 have this patch to prevent pops during the start of Native DSD playback? http://www.spinics.net/lists/alsa-devel/msg57771.html
  2. Is anyone driving the Holo DAC with an sMS-200? Do you experience pops with Native DSD?
  3. I am looking at the Altair because it is a streaming DAC that is a Roon Endpoint. I do not have any IOS devices. Does that rule out the Altair because the initial setup has to be done using IOS?
  4. The MD5 checksum of the ISO (and hence length) are identical on my PS3 and Oppo rips. I tested with about 10 different discs.
  5. I found some posts saying 1226 works. Thanks for those that posted the version.
  6. Anyone running firmware BDP10X-83-1226? I know some folks have stated they are running the latest recently but that means nothing because it depends on when they upgraded and they may have posted later they they did the upgrade.
  7. Buy an Ethernet Switch. Plug what is coming in from the router into the switch then connect other devices to the switch.
  8. I setup a PS3 recently and it took me about 3 hours before I could rip SACDs. Since I already had sacd_extract installed on my Linux machine and knew how to use it, setting up my Oppo took all of 10 minutes. The Oppo is way easier. It is also quiet and runs cool. The PS3 gets very hot and loud.
  9. Cool, thanks Ted! I already purchased a PS3 last week and am ripping but it's always nice to have an alternative...
  10. I got my PS3, iso2dsd and sacd_extract 0.3.8 working on my Linux machine. Thanks for the guide ted_b! All my SACD's already have the CD layer ripped and tagged, so I going to write a script to rename the and import those tags into the DSF files. Unless of course this tool already exists?
