  1. Bones13, Congratulations on your new Daedalus Audio Muse speakers. Lou makes wonderful sounding and beautiful speakers. I imagine yours are well broken in by now.
  2. A package arrived today from PI Audio. I was perplexed once I saw the contents. You see, I had ordered a USB cable and could not figure out how a 1.5m jump rope had gotten in there instead. Just for clarity - it was delivered to my audiophile buddy's home. He snapped a picture of it and emailed it to me. I'm out of the country until April 11th and he lives twenty minutes from my home. When I asked him what he thought of it, he said, "My ink jet printer's colors are so much more brilliant now!" He's going to plug it into my new Gustard X20u DAC that he's been burning in for me. I will post his thoughts when he emails me in a couple days.
  3. PIGLET! LOL! Oddly, I have this image of your using lard or bacon grease to grease the cable to give it that special quality. I've already read the email, and will forward the funds to you with special mailing address instructions in a few minutes. [Edit: Funds have been sent.] Michael
  4. Classfolkphile, Thank you for posting (both times). I hadn't known about Dave's USB cord until today. I sent Dave an email an hour ago asking about his USB cable and his expected completion/shipping date. Heck. I may as well get it to round out my PI Audio collection of goodies, and to get even more enjoyment out of my new Gustard X20U DAC.
  5. I hope you don't mind my bursting into this thread with my very first post here, but I may have an important tidbit concerning Chord Qute DACs that hasn't been mentioned. Apparently there's a conflict between El Capitan the the Chord Qute that doesn't exist with earlier Maverick OS. It's something to do with the M2Tech USB(?). I do not own the Chord DAC, but I know of someone who does. Now that that's out of the way, I've been looking into DACs lately and have narrowed my list down to three DACs - Schiit Gungnir Multibit, Nuprime DAC-10, and Gustard X20. [i just learned of PS Audio's NuWave last night, so it might be on the list.] Best of luck in your quest. Michael
