  1. Returning to the original topic - DCS Nerwork Bridge - and the enquiry about using the DCS Elgar + etc with an external clock. I have a DCS Elgar+, DCS Purcell and DCS verdi transport that I use with an external Mutec + word distributor. Each DCS device is connected to the Mutec via 75 ohm BNC cables from word out on the DCS to word in on the Mutec's word inputs. The Mutec then distributes a word clock 44.1khz signal to each DCS unit and they run in synchronisation. I had a demonstration of the DCS Network Bridge over a year ago and was thinking of buying one but the tardiness of DCS in providing even basic wifi connectivity not to an mention MQA fascility seems to me that they like chasing the big bucks with their gold plated limited edition high end kit, not a grey cheapo - relatively - low end box.
  2. Hello, I am trying in vain to progress with the combination of an M-Audio Profire 610 firewire audio interface connecting a Behringer ECM8000 measurement microphone to my Mac Book Pro running 10.6.8 and FuzzMeasure software. I can make initial impulse measurements of a loudspeaker but cannot perform the time correction step. I had a similar problem using the freeware REW software and was told there was a Java firewire break problem. To pay $150 for FuzzMeasure - still using demo - and have a similar fault is unacceptable. FuzzMeasure has virtually no support mechanism - again poor for the cost of the product. Can anyone help please? Regards Roger
  3. Hi Thomian, Thanks for your reply. Yes I did solve the problem of using the CD 24 ISO builder software to make multitrack CD24 discs that play perfectly on the Alesis 9600. The problem was two fold: 1. The meta tags built into commericial high res files that supply info for files servers and software like iTunes needs removing. 2. The file name needs to be less than 7 letters long. As the Alesis is used to handling aif files created by recording audio to its own hard drive - ie virgin files with no metadata or long file names - the Alesis will only read those file types when introduced via a CD24 disc. Regards Roger
  4. Hi, Has anyone any idea about the Alesis CD24 software? I am using this to add downloaded high resolution music files to my Alesis Masterlink 9600's hard drive. When I create a CD 24 disc containing multiple audio files (aiff) several of the files are always corrupted. Alesis' technical support are of no use to me with this problem. Thanks Roger
