  1. the newer version update of HQplayer NAA will be possible only through the Fedora version upgrade on Eunhasu, which is planned in this summer. Until then, the HQplayer NAA version will remain at 4.5 on sMS-200/sMS-200ultra.
  2. Greetings! Eunhasu firmware version number 0.5.6 is ready on our alpha server. Version : V0.5.6 – Date : 03-15-2024 – Add the network tune at a time when enabled the CPU latency tune. – Adjust the none audio Eunhasu process service priority down. – Update the MPD config page. – Remove the buffer settings & set 100MB by default. – Remove the buffer before play & Period time. – Add the & cache buffer size 1GB. – Update the Eunhasu service code And the MPD V0.23.15 and UPMPDCLI v1.8.9 have also been updated. To reflect the above, the beta server should be enabled first and then, remove the MPD/DLNA function and reinstall it in the MPD&DLNA config page. After this update, you must change any value or content on the MPD/DLNA config page and be sure to save the settings. In the MPD function, the buffer setting part has been removed, so if you experience a noise problem that can be adjusted with the buffer value, please report it. We are also considering ways to make it usable again as before. The proper test environment should be Eunhasu V. 0.5.6(alpha server) and the kernel V.6.1.60-212 and also upgrade thge mpd(beta server) and test it. Additionally, there have been a function to return it to DHCP if you set Eunhasu’s IP to Static but cannot remember the IP address. In this case, “connect to the LAN port to the device by a lan cable, reboot, disconnect the LAN cable, wait 15 minutes, and reconnect the LAN cable” was the process to return to DHCP from static IP, but it has been changed to wait within 5 minutes after rebooting for the first time. For the alpha server testing, please access to the alpha server by following url, http://<your Eunhasu ip address>/upgrade.php?upgrade_server=alpha Once done upgrading to the alpha server, then, reboot the device and you are ready to test. After upgrading to the alpha version(0.5.6), please go to the beta server by following the instruction, 1. Access to http://<your Eunhasu ip address>/beta.php, and enable the “beta server”, click “Save changes” button to be applied correctly. 2. Click the Kernel check button(Update the kernel version no.) in the system update page and check the kernel version no. is updated to the 6.1.60-212. 3. Test it.(if you would like to test MPD, go to the MPD&DLNA config page to remove and reinstall the MPD/DLNA feature, and then apply any values newly to the MPD&DLNA config page and save the change.) 4. And disable the beta server after done testing. (Access to http://<your Eunhasu ip address>/beta.php and disable the beta server)
  3. Hello All ! We've built a new kernel version no.6.1.60-212 and it is currently in our beta server, this kernel version no. is mainly for the users whom use the ITF USD DSD solution DAC such as Teac, Esoteric, Denon, Marantz and etc, this kernel version no. could fix bugs that can occur when changing the sampling rate or changing the track during playback in such products. But if you have the different brand's DAC and experience the similar situation, then try to apply this kernel version no. in the beta server. Please follow the instruction below. 1. Access to http://<ip address>/beta.php and enable the "beta server", click "Save changes" button to be applied correctly. 2. Click the Kernel check button(Update the kernel version no.) in the system update page and check the kernel version no. is updated to the 6.1.60-212. 3. Test it. And disable the beta server after done testing. (Access to http://<ip address>/beta.php and disable the beta server) Thank you.
  4. Many thanks for sharing the result, it seems it's about the setting issues that we didn't use before, all sorted out :) Have a great day!
  5. Hi Stefano, are you able to test it with the setting values like this?
  6. Many thanks! once we fix the issue in the kernel, then I will get back to you, it may take some time!
  7. Hi Stefano, found out the issue at our end as well, please try using the 5.1.20 kernel till we would solve the situation, once solvedd, the kernel version no. will be updated. This is the image file with the latest firmware version and the kernel version no.5.1.2, https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1SaHm3O5t6Kvx_t3_NF11k6uQLWjdZH5i or reverting to the kernel version no. is possible, via http://<your eunhasu ip address>/exed.php?cmd=sudo dnf -y install kernel-5.10.20-210.fc32 kernel-core-5.10.20-210.fc32 kernel-modules-5.10.20-210.fc32 kernel-tools-5.10.20-210.fc32 kernel-headers-5.10.20-210.fc32 --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=eunhasu,eunhasu-updates --refresh but takes about 20 mins for it, so you should wait about 20 mins and reboot the device after that. Thank you.
  8. FYI, https://www.sotm-audio.com/sotmwp/english/eunhasu-v0-5-5_alpha/ please check .
  9. yup, if anyone wanna try, https://docs.sotm-audio.com/doku.php?id=intalling&s[]=5, follow this instruction, it's for the installation guide for whom use the sMB-Q370. From the version no. 5.5, it has the latency tune and CPU frequency set function, it's the most powerful function to improve sound quality in the software side.
  10. Hi Stefano, thanks for the report, but I have some difficulty to understand about this part, is "in the case 1)" about the interger multiple and is "in the case 2)" about not the interger multiple? And the sMS-200 doesn't limit DSD512/22579000. Thanks, please confirm about it. Best regards, May
  11. after disappeared Eunhasu, playback stopped ? the unit seems disconnected from the network?
  12. The setting seems okay, I recommend having a new micro sd card and install the latest image file on it for further test.. Because if Roon ready does not actually use the Web GUI, it will run at the slowest frequency(144MHz)...so I assumed maybe in your case, it's because something else is going on internally and that's why I'm telling you to try it with new mSD card again.
  13. yes, I would say it's upto you. Our conclusion is using Roon, 1000BASE-T and 312Mhz settings, but other users had shared that using "Roon, 1000BASE-T and 144Mhz settings", "MPD/DLNA, 1000BASE-T and 528MHz" or some other configurations brought the improvement in their system, so it's upto you. :) thank you!
