I have an Auraliti PK100 which is great and I am extremely pleased with its quality and ease of use. I normally use MPDroid as the client on my Samsung Galaxy 4. The PK100 has a drive connected directly to the USB at the rear containing almost all Flac with some MP3.
I use Musicbee as the music organiser on my windows PC and I know this sets the albumartist tag correctly as I can see it when I enquire using Windows explorer.
On MPDroid there is an option on the library to view by 'albumartist' instead of 'artist' to avoid all those annoying compilations clogging up the artist list, but when I select this it simply shows absolutely nothing in the list. When I change the option back to 'artist' all the artists reappear.
I thought this might be an MPDroid issue so loaded Ario onto my windows PC. It allows the albumartist to be displayed. In each case it simply displays the same as the artist, not the albumartist I have set in the tags.
So I am wondering is this an MPD issue or an Auraliti issue. Has anyone else found this or know how to resolve it? All help gratefully received!
