  1. For those who are looking for a external power supply to be used with the mytek brooklyn, do consider this post. Mytek Brooklyn with LPS (New premium PS) I've tried it and it does wonders. Very reasonably priced as well. Simply look at the components within and be awed
  2. Its a 2.5mm DC input, i did write about it earlier in this thread. Cheers
  3. Hi all from Singapore, I've recently purchased the Brooklyn and I have to say, compared to the 192, instruments are better seperated, bass frequencies hits lower, each and every instrument has its own compartments. I've no regrets of the upgrade. To capitalize on the fact that the Brooklyn allows for an external PSU, I managed to order a 2A,12VDC out rated one from Sound Affairs. Just for your information, the DC input is a 2.5mm jack and not 2.1mm. The differences in sound is audible. The background was quieter, this allowed musical details that were previously layered over by noise to be heard. However, due to the change of an external PSU(replacing the internal switch mode power supply), the higher frequencies were less tamed. For those who are considering an external PSU, for a few hundred dollars, it is certainly worth it. However, do get one with a higher ampere rating as 2A is insufficient(the external PSU which I used became rather hot to touch). Would suggest >=3A. Cheers, Lucas Ng
