  1. DACs are pretty awesome, you're right. The other side of things may be that you just plain had bad sound on your PC motherboard. That happens all too often and people don't even know it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey guys. Does anyone out there use DIME for their bootleg and rare audio needs? I know not a lot of it is audiophile quality, but that's how bootlegs go. I'm just wondering if it's worth sticking my neck out, torrenting on the school network. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Heck, just listened to that one the other day. They also need decent guys running the board, because so many live albums sound like they can from a Nokia microphone in someone's pocket on the back of the upper deck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think that's really why they do it. Grateful Dead puts all of their live releases on Spotify, so many that it's actually somewhat difficult to find the studio albums on their page. I wish pearl jam and others would stream the albums for free, because it's a great advertisement for young people to come see an [somewhat] old band in concert. Perhaps some bands don't do it because they spend so much time doctoring up one show at a time, wether that's because of bad vocals or just wanting it to be perfect. Personally, I'll take it raw, as it was in concert! :^} Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Wilson's mix is a piece of art, and that was without listening to it through my O2+ODAC (I'm a poor college kid okay?). He did an amazing job, I pretty much just sat there with my tongue out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I absolutely love love albums. Especially when I'm home alone, they make the house feel a bit less empty. Pearl Jam's bootlegs are legendary, as with the Grateful Dads! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Whew I wish! They support WAV, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
