Just seen this post. The Antipodes EX can run HQPlayer NAA, connecting for example to HQPlayer Desktop on Windows, and can also run Embedded HQ Player Server. A CX is not needed.

Marc, is MQA working on your Brooklyn?

To clarify, in view of recent posts, in no way am I a dissatisfied purchaser of the Brooklyn. My unit arrived from Poland in perfect condition shortly after Christmas and worked straight out of the box with my Antipodes media server. I am certainly interested in MQA, and that was a factor in my purchase, but the fact that it is not enabled yet does not concern me; my comments and the ticket re 'NO LOCK' have just been in a spirit of co-operation and information sharing. For me this is a good buy!

My ticket response today from Mytek: We are aware of this and we work with Meridian to fix it as the MQA is still under their development. It will be fixed with the next firmware updates. As noted above still 'NO LOCK" in 1.40.

I have done so as well. I'm not in the least concerned with the delays. It's part of being an 'early adopter', and we have already had two firmware releases since 1/1/16 so can see that Mytek is on the job.

I have also installed 1.39. When MQA switched 'On' when playing an MQA-mastered track I get a 'NO LOCK' message on the display? Did you try playing MQA material?

Did you also install the USB driver on the WIn10 laptop before trying to run Mytek Control Panel: MytekUSB2BrooklynDrv.v3.29.0

Could you not impose on a friend with a Windows or OSX laptop? It's literally a 5-minute job to download the firmware and update on the Brooklyn.

I bought the same album from 2L and asked the same question. I think (hope) there must be a firmware upgrade coming to activate MQA. I have asked Mytek but not yet had a reply.
