  1. The output level on the original DAC is adjusted by the user by opening the case which means warranty is still valid. Not sure DAC+ if has the same jumper adjustment model. Discovery of a tiny broken plastic piece may prevent the hassle of sending the unit back. Then again, contacting Mytek might be the best choice. Yaman
  2. Actually Brooklyn has an upgrade path, which is the external power supply option. Apart from that I don't remember Mytek ever promising anything on the subject. Why don't you just sit back, relax and enjoy the awesome DAC you have. Cheers Yaman
  3. BigGuy, It is in the zip file together with the firmware.
  4. Unfortunately no MQA support yet Marc. Attached is the changelog. readme.txt
  5. Mine was cutting the power with only a slight touch, so replaced it with a stock one at hand.
  6. Brooklyn has only one USB input and no Firewire. Cheers
  7. Brooklyn is only a dac without any streaming ability. You have to feed it with a PC or a streamer like Aries as you say. There is no wireless functionality either, so no airplay. Cheers
  8. Hi Pad_Boll, Brooklyn does not include an analog-digital converter. So you can't record your guitar with it. It includes a digital bypass mode though, it passes all the digital info to the computer through USB. If you somehow digitize your guitar and feed to Brooklyn from one of its digital inputs, you can then use Brooklyn to get to ProTools. Regards
