  1. All music file types at the moment. Didn't have this problem with the Wheezy disk image so I think it's something I need to configure. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile
  2. I'm trying to set up a BBB as a renderer but I want to use Debian 8 Jessie. I'm mostly there but I'm getting some low frequency clicks. Could someone post their mpd.conf file so I can cross check the settings? I'm connecting to a Schiit Bifrost DAC. Also using the latest version of upmpdcli.
  3. Hope this is the right place for this: I'm trying to set up a BBB as a renderer but I want to use Debian 8 Jessie. I'm mostly there but I'm getting some low frequency clicks. Could someone post their mpd.conf file so I can cross check the settings? I'm connecting to a Schiit Bifrost DAC.
  4. I'm just throwing this out there to see if anyone else has had this problem. Using the BBB renderer per Chris's instructions. The first song in a listening session begins with horrible digital artifacts as though the DAC (Schiit Bifrost) can't communicate with the BBB (USB connection). Pausing the music and then restarting it solves the problem. And from there it doesn't seem to come back regardless of the file type or resolution. It's a temporary annoyance but I'd like it to go away. I can ssh into the BBB and open config files; I've tried disabling the volume control and setting the buffer to 10% but I still get the problem. Any ideas?
