  1. Does this mean that if you run a program *after* Fidelizer is started it will be treated as an audio process?
  2. did you try sudo apt-get install qtdeclarative5-controls-plugin or whatever the proper install command is? edit: looks like that package is "deleted" from some repositories. It does say head package is qtquickcontrols-opensource-src. Not sure if installing that would get you there, maybe someone else knows
  3. You can stream any format foobar2000 supports to HQP. On PC that is... check here: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-software/stream-hqplayer-desktop-foobar2000-29676/
  4. Not sure about HQPlayer settings but in Win 7 there is a "Startup" directory under the "All Programs" folder... Put it there and it will start on login
  5. If they are going to trash his daughter, you would hope they could at least call him "Muhammad" Edit: Apparently the person they call "Mohammad Al" is not Muhammad Ali but Mohamed Al-Fayed... Still got his name wrong according to wikipedia but now I don't care
  6. It was my assumption that exporting a wav impulse and then using Duff Room Correction (DRC) to make a filter would indeed be a time domain filter...
  7. But you can still output an impulse to turn into a convolution filter with DRC... Correct?
  8. But PCM convolution is still done in PCM, correct?
  9. On the subject of convolvers, is HQP's convolver special compared to a generic one, and how?
  10. Turns out it is. Would there be any benefit to switching to an iPad? I know that there exist Lumin and other apps but not sure what features they might offer that BubbleUPnP doesn't. Anyone have preference for different Android or iPad apps?
  11. OK... The issue was that I didn't think flac or wav metadata would be streamed via UPnP, just the audio itself. If the tag info is transferred from MinimServer to foobar then that issue is moot. As far as the remote app, is it as simple as selecting "foobar 2000 Renderer" in the remote app (BubbleUPnP) and play away?
  12. If not Plex, does anyone know of a music server software that applies replaygain with high word length? Then I could set up a http stream or other protocol stream (using foo_upnp) to foobar and resample in it... Thanks!
  13. Hello, I would like to stream audio (WAV) from PLEX to a foobar2000 instance where I can apply replaygain and resample with high quality. I have a Kindle Fire that I would like to use as a remote. Is that possible? I would like to know if it is before I start setting up PLEX. Thanks, v
  14. Well I got it to stream to Foobar via UPnP, which could theoretically be streamed to HQPlayer. Somehow I doubt that 64 bit volume control (for Replaygain) is worth the trouble. If there is another way, I would love to hear it
  15. Is it possible to do this with JRiver? It has more internal bits for volume control which may or may not be audible...
