  1. Tried that, does not work. I am back using Audionet app. Works ok, but not great. I have patchy internet here so it may be a network issue. Although this would not explain the occasional usb to DAC misconnect. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  2. Is anyone else having problems with the upnp app of choice with the Melco? I have tried Audionet, Kinsky and the latest Arcam. Each one has its different issues. Kinsky will only play one song at a time. On occasion the usb from the Melco to the DAC will not link. I am starting to think the direct connection from source players whether it is TT, CD transport or even the Mac mini is much more stable. Love the Melco sound, but the interface glitches are questioning my choice to go with network streamers. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  3. Well Med, I know I really like mine. Easy usb connection and excellent sound. You can play SACD via H-Link from a SACD Accuphase gear. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  4. These FS Ktemas are going to be buried with me. Although, I have paired them with Accuphase and they love class A amplification. I'm in Japan now and no longer living in California. Definitely getting my electronic fix here. Yes pics would be highly appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  5. In Japan, the name is Dela and everywhere else its referred as Melco. I did a search and found it on Phile-Web pages. Most recent reviews are in Stereophile March 2016, Absolute Sound 2016 Editors Choice Awards and others. As far as the DC-37, I use USB from the Dela, Usb Spdif converter from MAC mini and toslink from CD player. I contemplated getting the DP-520 to use the HS-Link, but cannot justify the cost when I hardly listen to CDs and do not own SACDs. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  6. After further investigation this may only be a temporary solution until Apple's new iPhone streams hi rez via the lightning port. http://iphone.appleinsider.com/articles/15/12/20/apple-music-reportedly-preparing-hi-res-audio-streaming-for-2016 Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  7. I live here in Japan and I can contest SACD is still popular. With that said, they are moving in the direction of streamers with the Melco/Dela which is getting great reviews. I am a Accuphase owner and I contemplated with the DP 720 for $8000, but chose to go with the future and bought the DC-37 instead. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  8. Anyone familiar with using Lightening to USB Camera Adapter to connect iPhone/iPad to DAC? Seems to work very well. Not going to replace my current setup, but is a great compromise when the desire is to simply bypass the iPhone DAC for an external DAC. I will be utilizing this for my office setup at work where I use the Audioengine B2 Bluetooth with the Simaudio 100d DAC. I can only imagine the moon DAC is far better than the iPhone via Bluetooth. 10. Let me further emphasize, only at extreme volumes which I would never listen at. Not real concern other than messing with my type A personality. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  11. Has any one ever experienced electrical interference (noise) with a wifi network extender/router with their phono preamp? To clarify, at high volumes I hear electrical noise pulsation through my speakers only when the phono preamp is on. This noise is variable depending on the movement of the wifi extender. I verified no crossing of cables. I have not tried to move my streamer which is connected to the network and lies in close proximity to the phono preamp. Thoughts? 12. How about an app compatible for IPhone? Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
  13. Melco/NA1 reviewed by Stereophile March 2016 issue. States the Melco is the champ of the streamers. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app

  15. I got the Dela/Melco because it is half the price, available here in Japan and sounds great. Although to be honest, I had no idea how it sounded before I bought it. I wish it was a bit more cosmetically pleasing, named the artist when playing and had its own app, but I can get over it. Sent from my iPhone using Computer Audiophile mobile app
